Our volunteers run weekly meetings for girls and young women aged 5-26, and offer a wide range of girl lead activities based on the guidelines and principles of Girlguiding. Membership is open to all, and activities are also offered outside weekly meetings in the form of outings, camps and holidays, all aimed at developing young people in a fun and safe environment.

The charity is part of 'Girlguiding UK' and covers the activities of 7 units serving around 130 girls aged between 5 and 20. They follow Girlguiding programmes. All the leaders are volunteers and each unit is run by its appointed leader. The girls are active in the community taking part in events in the town and in the wider Girlguiding programme.

For the public benefit to advance the education of children in Uganda, particularly but not exclusively, to support Willow School specifically by constructing more classroom blocks, community library, boys dormitory and girls dormitory, school dining hall school assembly hall, paying teachers wages and paying for other co-curricular activities.

1st Falfield Scout Group is a Community based group and offering over 200 activities, from abseiling and archery to drama, street sports and water zorbing, for boys and girls aged from 6 to 14 years of age.The Scout Group is committed to being inclusive of all young people, regardless of their gender, race, religion or belief, ability or disability and has a clear Equal Opportunities Policy.

The school celebrated its 80th anniversary and held various fund raising events.

Upkeep of Alsager District Girl Guide Hall

Cantate was formed by Michael Kibblewhite in 1994 as a mixed voice youth choir, to provide keen young singers with high quality training in singing and performance skills. The membership of almost 180 boys and girls represent about 80 schools, colleges and universities mostly in Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. A Chamber Choir and a Parents Choir perform and support the youth choirs.

Raise funds for the school to purchase resources that benefit the pupils at AESG in their education,pastoral care and recreation eg Playground refurbishment, workshops on bullying, drugs, managingstress, emotional well being, equipment for school productions, science labequipment, digital cameras. The fund raising events bring together pupils, teachers, parents and local community.
