Activities & Mission

Cantate was formed by Michael Kibblewhite in 1994 as a mixed voice youth choir, to provide keen young singers with high quality training in singing and performance skills. The membership of almost 180 boys and girls represent about 80 schools, colleges and universities mostly in Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. A Chamber Choir and a Parents Choir perform and support the youth choirs.
