Girlguiding Baldock District is the operating name of Baldock District Guides and is part of Girlguiding, the operating name of the Guide Association.Girlguiding enables girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference to the world through a stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities, delivered by trained volunteers.

We run units of Rainbow Guides age 5 to 7, Brownie Guides age 7 to 10, Girl Guides age 10 to 15, Rangers age 14 to 17 in line with the policy and programme as laid down by Girlguiding UK. Longton Division covers the Town of Longton in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

To assist women and girls in financial need and to encourage the development of counselling and community work skills within the area of the Wearmouth Deanery of the Church of England Diocese of Durham.

We offer advice and support to autistic women & girls through regular group sessions in Bristol, and seek to improve public and professional understanding of autism in women & girls through workshops and outreach.

To learn new skills for camping and working together to achieve this through fun and friendship. Any group working for The Duke of Edinborough Award Scheme can also use the campsite.

Activities include the organisation of fund raising events which involve the school students, parents and teachers.

gIRL GUIDING RELATED ACTIVITIES

Support group for local Girlguiding units in North Chingford.

To further the developmnet and education of boys, young men, girls and young women through their leisure time activities, to help them achieve their physical and spiritual potential so they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society, and their conditions of life may be improved.

We support girls and women in poor areas of Kenya by providing reusable period pads and start up funding for pad making businesses. Our aim is to make a positive impact on girl's and women's health, education, gender inequality and also to support local businesses and communities.

Girlguiding UK, as part of a worldwide Movement, enables girls and young women to fulfil their potential and to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteer leaders.

Our charity supports Blessed Trinity College in any way it can, financially and socially by holding events to raise money both for our College and our newly restored chapel. We also donate money to past students to support various activities they are undertaking. This might be sporting events, charitable events or gap year activities etc. We provide financial help for the relief of poverty.

The charity is a Scout Group within East Herts District run by Trustees appointed under the Rules of The Scout Association. It provides the opportunities for boys and girls aged 6 thru 16 for which the Scout movement is well known in three age groups, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, led by Warranted Leaders. It enjoys the support of adult volunteers, especially for fund raising.

Based upon the Girlguiding UK Brownie programme we encourage young girls to have fun, give them opportunities to make decisions, give them skills appropriate to their age and give them the opportunity to go away on Pack Holiday.
