The object of Clarbeston Road AFC is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of association football for boys and girls from all mini and junior age groups from 5 to 16 years and for both adult male and female teams. The Haven specialises in working with male and female victims of abuse regardless of age, faith, sexual orientation, disability and ethnicity.

St Albans Action for Homeless supports the street homeless and those in temporary accommodation, The charity provides hot meals on a Friday and Saturday night in St Albans town center plus clothes and basic essentials/toiletries on a Wednesday night. The charity also runs Hope House which provides accommodation for up to four males.
