We offer pre-school sessions for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years, to help enhance their development and education. We are guided by the Early Years Foundation Scheme (EYFS) principles of: a unique child; positive relationships; enabling environments; learning and development. We work with parents and carers to provide for the needs of their children through a community group.

The Parish Church of St Mary's Bocking, Essex, offers Sunday & weekday C of E services, weddings, funerals and baptisms. Additional areas of involvement incl, home communion, visiting, fellowship group, bible study, book club, parent & toddler group, choir, bellringing, plus outreach events incl coffee mornings, Messy Church & concerts. We are a church based pre-school, managed by a committee comprising parent and church representatives. All our employed staff hold early years qualifications or equivalent and the team includes parent volunteers. The facilities used by the pre-school include a large well-equipped hall and a dedicated outdoor play area.

We represent the views of families, influence positive change in the delivery of services for children and young people with disabilities and special educational needs and ensure the best possible outcomes for them.

ACA manages the Ackroyd Community Centre which is used by up to 20 Lewisham based organisations. The Centre hosts activities for children and parents with play and activities opportunities, a nursery, after school club, holiday play-schemes and parental support projects. The Sea Ranger Association is a voluntary uniformed youth organisation for girls.
