The object of the Trust is the advancement of the education of Guiseley School's students by:(a) developing more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school;(b) engaging in activities which support the school and advance the education of the students;(c) providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school.

To develop effective relationships between parents, staff, guardians and governors with the aim of bringing together everyone to enhance and galvanise the community spirit and atmosphere at our School. WELSA is a voluntary organisation that helps vulnerable and disadvantaged Somali people. We give them advice and we also translate for them hen required. I also help them when they are job hunting. Although the younger generations have learnt and mastered the English language, unfortunately many elders and parents still truffle with day to day activities due to the language barrier.

Other activities include quiz nights, raffles, readathons, cake sales, festive wreath-making, eco-friendly events, bingo, story-telling & summer fetes.
