The Trust was set up in 2003 in memory of Eloise and Katie Plunkett - two young sisters who both died of cancer. It (a) funds small projects in England and Scotland that make a real difference to the lives of young people and (b) supports causes which are important to the Plunkett family - particularly cancer and Parkinson's Disease.

Girlguiding Herefordshire is part of Girlguiding UK, the largest organisation for girls and young women.

The Love Moldova Foundation is a Christian charity which raises funds in the UK to support the poor and vulnerable in Moldova and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We work with Moldovan charities, churches and individuals to fund a home for vulnerable elderly ladies and to support a refuge for young girls at risk of trafficking as well as outreach and youth work by the churches.

The Guide Association, as part of a worldwide Movement, enables girls and young women to fufil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteers. This charity owns and provides a Brownie and Guide Holiday House and a Brownie and Guide Campsite for use by all members.

Practical, emotional and spiritual support offered to to women sexually exploited through prostitution through weekly drop-in, outreach, and be-friending sessions.

Our main aim to uplift the living standards of the community by providing better Education, Self employment for poor families and widows and Funding for serious medical emergency. We are planning to do more for re-settling our very people by providing clean water , sanitation and other urgent requirement. The charity funds a school and a womens' sewing centre in Karnataka state, India.

We promote the Christian religion in various ways - Sunday and mid-week services, Prayer Meetings and Bible Studies. We hold regular social activities both in our church premises and at other locations depending on the activity. We have a very active Sunday School as well as mid-week outings for those who attend. We have a Women's Auxiliary group and a Craft Club open to all adults.

Blacon Youth Football Club provides the opportunity for young people both boys & girls between the ages of 6 to 16 inclusive to participate in football activities. This activity gives the young people the opportunity to play in a team sport which provides discipline and respect and gives them enjoyment, fun and fitness in a friendly and secure environment.
