Tz Rising supports girls living in rural poverty in Tanzania through Secondary School, College and University. Tz Rising currently supports 25 girls by paying their education fees and providing them with school materials and other necessities.

The principal activity of the charity is the development of and creation of opportunities for women, young people and families in the Rotherham area as well as providing opportunities for training and employment for the communities within the Borough of Rotherham.

Bursaries are given to attend Denman, the NFWI residential college where arts, crafts, sciences and home economics are taught. Weekly and monthly activities are enjoyed by members. It promotes women's concerns and interests by providing a forum within which members' views shape policy and strategy and its represents members views to the National Federation local and national government. The Federation provides information, training and education services.

The charity's activities will include weekly religious worship services, prayer meetings, Bible study groups, Kids Club for local children aged 5-11, Youth Groups for young people aged 11-16, :Ladies Craft, Men's Breakfast, A weekly Community Club for friendship and a lunch, A food supply cupboard which provides food for those in need, and Community Fun Days for the local community.
