The Gloucestershire Chinese Womens Guild is the only organisation that cares for most of the Chinese community in Gloucestershire. Our staff carry out full advocacy, interpreting, filling official documents such as welfare benefits forms and local authorities.

Fund raising activities over last year have included a ladies day which raised over £1200. We have a stall at the local Christmas markets selling our Christmas cards and second hand jewellery raised over £400. The committee hold a meeting once a month and we decided how we are going to spend the money within the hospital for the benefit of the patients and the wider community.

Our work in local communities, on Merseyside, is directed towards those suffering poverty and social exclusion. Priority is given to adult educational work, community development and health-related initiatives.

Provision of short term quick access emergency accomodation and support for destitute asylum seeking and migrant women

We are a small family run charity providing furniture to people in need with in the forest of dean, we also work with a number of other local charites including Barnados Childrens Centre, Local Food Bank, Green Square Housing, Womens refuge, Local Churches, Gloucester Homeless Donations and Social Services.We collect unwanted furniture, so stoping it from entering landfill, repair and reuse !

The principal activity of the charity in the year under review was to proclaim the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to give every man, woman and child who respond to said Gospel the opportunity to become whole in Christ Jesus for the glory of God through teaching study & prayer.

AFI supports an impoverished community in South Africa where 40% of the people are HIV positive. We fund community gardens, water tanks, boreholes, food supplements, new vehicles, orphans, key workers, a women's self-help group etc. AFI workers in the UK are volunteers, all money raised goes directly to Ingwavuma. Trustees regularly visit Ingwavuma to ensure the money is correctly spent.

The charity's purpose is 1.To provide immediate assistance to Berkshire Mark Masons or their widows in time of need in compliance with our by laws; 2. Support to small local charities; 3. Support to one Berkshire-wide Charity each year;4. Support to National Charitable Giving through the Mark Benevolent Fund.Support to Option 1 will always receive first call on funds.

The principal objective of the Ghana Education Project is the advancement of education of children in the Nkwanta Region of North East Ghana through building development and the provision of books, equipment and teaching resources and supplies. GEP also initiates and supports in-service teacher training and community adult education programmes in Nkwanta.

We meet up regularly on Sundays for worship and teaching and have other meetings during the week such as cell group and prayer meetings.Other activities include ladies group, baptism and discipleship classes, conference attendance and in house training for outreach.

We are a non-profit, privately-run Charitable Incorporated Organisation operating in England and Wales and Pakistan. We are trying to make society more educated, tolerant, cooperative, and compatible with the 21st century. We are providing a secure place and platform for girls, where they can grow learn and develop new skills according to their ambitions, choices, and abilities.

We offer friendship and education about the Christian Religion to people of all ages and backgrounds. On Sundays we run religious meetings. On weekdays we run a Mums and Toddler Group, a meeting for mainly retired women, a bible study group and a youth club.

Our aim is to help improve the quality of life of both adults and children in rural Uganda. Working as a humanitarian, community based organisation, we have delivered a number of sustainable community projects including building a school hostel for girls, a large community centre and supporting women's groups and educating students through sponsors, along with livelihood projects for young people.
