The Charity is a trust and was founded in 1687 to provide almshouses for the poor and widows and widowers in the parish of Quainton

Provide and support to children, poor and widow and work for the eradication of poverty through international assisted programmes. The organisation also support on relief of poverty, sickness and distress by providing medical services.

The Charity is a Baptist Church whose George Street Centre is used by the wider community of Ryde. In addition to regular worship and church activities, our rooms are used by a number of organisations such as IOW Bridge Club, Art Classes, etc. Street Pastors have a base at our premises. We host a Girls' Brigade company. Our rooms are well-used by the local community.

We aim to give ongoing support and care. They gain self esteem, confidence, mutual peer support, giving the women a chance of moving on from what may have been a very dislocated life. Pursuing the objectives of the Guide Association

The activities include Regular Sunday Service in the Church, Weekly Home group, Prayer meeting, Sister's fellowship, Sunday School, Youth fellowship, Wedding ceremonies, Funeral, Street preaching, Baptism, Church outing and Annual Christmas Celebration.

The aim of Girlguiding North Tyneside is to help girls and young women develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.

The Charity supports an educational mission for underprivileged children in Varanassi, India. The charity currently targets 4 areas of education: 1) Kindergarten, Years 1 to 6 with c 210 children 2) a boarding school for 50 boys from 8 to 18 years. 3) An after school with c 175 children registered, 4) Sewing centre to teach seamstress skills for 50 women.

THE CHURCH NOT ONLY SERVES THE ROMANIAN COMMUNITY THROUGH SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE, BIBLE STUDY, YOUTH MINISTRY, SUNDAY SCHOOL, WOMEN'S MINISTRY BUT IS ALSO INVOLVED IN HELPING THE HOMELESS AND THE POOR FAMILIES THAT REQUEST OUR HELP.

Brightlingsea Cricket Club seeks to actively promote participation in healthy recreation for the wider community through the provision of facilities and opportunities for playing sport. We offer opportunities for people of all ages from the age of 4 years upwards to learn, train, play and enjoy cricket. We also cater for specific groups such as girls and disabled people.

St. Paul's Girls' School Parents' Guild aims to advance the education of the students at St Paul's Girls' School.

Bedford Ladies and Girls Football Club offers opportunities for girls and ladies to play association football at an amateur level. The club offers Walking Football, and runs after-school sessions to allow more girls to try football and encourage them to consider playing.Youth teams play in the FA Bedfordshire Girls League. Ladies teams play in the Eastern Region Womens Football League.

THE MAIN PURPOSES OF THE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE ORGANISATION ARE TO ENABLE WOMEN WHO ARE INTERESTED IN ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH RURAL LIFE, INCLUDING ARTS, CRAFTS AND SCIENCES TO IMPROVE AND DEVELOP CONDITIONS OF RURAL LIFE, TO ADVANCE THEIR EDUCATION IN CITIZENSHIP, IN PUBLIC QUESTIONS BOTH NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL, IN MUSIC, DRAMA AND OTHER CULTURAL SUBJECTS AND IN ALL BRANCHES OF AGRICULTURE ETC.

Our main focus is to find creative ways to engage with the local community in Burngreave and surrounding areas.Our Creative English programme has worked with over 500 women and children from diverse backgrounds, building confidence in language and improving understanding of daily life in a new country. We support local women to share skills and resources, set priorities and help lead activities.

Peninim supports physically disabled women and those with life-long medical conditions through the provision of accessible programmes and services, designed to improve their lives and promote social integration within the wider community.

Church and Community Work1. Provision of Weekly Church Services on Wednesday and Sunday to minister to the physical, spiritual and material needs of the congregants. 2. Provision of Special Events and Meetings to meet the specific needs of target groups in the Church such as Men, Women, Youth and Children.

We run a Community Centre. Within the centre we accomodate a Children's Centre and a Pre-school. We hire rooms out to many groups such as Dog Training, Girl Guides, Friendship Group, various dancing classes, toddler group, baby clinic, Zumba, Tai chi etc. We also put on regular events for the local community. We are sympathetic to charitable organisations wanting to use our centre.

TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH AND MISSION. TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, PARTICULARLY, BUT NOT RESTRICTED TO WIDOWS AND ORPHANS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF SUFFICIENT. THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN SUCH WAYS THOUGHT FIT.

The object of the charity is to help relieve the suffering of people, including refugees from Burma/Myanmar, who have fled hardship and human rights abuses. These activities specifically include aid for needy veterans (and their widows/ dependants) who served in the armed forces raised in Burma during the Second World War.

Provision and maintenance of a group of 8 dwelling houses for the use of older women of limited means and in need of semi-sheltered housing.

To support learning, literacy, school facilities, nutrition, vocational skilling, and health of students, especially girls, at primary schools (particularly St Michael's Girls) and a secondary school within Bugweri District. To offer grants and financial aid in partnership with school managements. We support skilling of young adults under 30 years old working with registered local NGOs.

Providing support for bereaved families in Nottinghamshire following pregnancy loss or the death of a baby or child. We support anyone who has experienced loss, from early gestation to the death of an older child, with activities including peer support, specialist bereavement counselling, creative and holistic therapies, information sharing, books and resources.
