HEARTBEAT CHORUS IS A LADIES' A CAPPELLA CHORUS SPECIALISING IN LADIES' BARBERSHOP STYLE SINGING. WE AIM TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF A CAPPELLA SINGING IN ALL ITS ASPECTS. WE SING A WIDE RANGE OF MUSIC, MAINLY UNACCOMPANIED BUT ON OCCASIONS WITH ACCOMPANIMENT.

Provide informaiton, advice, counselling, referral, interpretation, translation and accompanying services on housing, welfare, health, immigration & asylum, education, training, employment to men, women, older people, young people, children, abled and disabled of all ethnic backgrounds.

The objects of the Charity are to provide accommodation to ladies of the town of Romsey or those having close relatives in the area and who are in need at the time of assessment.In order to achieve this, the Charity owns, maintains and lets nine accommodation units. The Trustees regularly visit the residents to ensure they are not experiencing any problems.

The Memorial Hall is used by a wide section of the local community.i.e Pre School,Mums & Toddlers,,Cubs & Scouts for the youth. Golden Circle(Ex WI)Flower Group,Horticultural ,Dancing Dog Training.keep fit classes.

Provision of Village Hall facilities for the benefit of the communities in Fairfield and surrounding areas. Activities include specific groups for the young and the old, the Parish Church, Womens Institute and various local events.

The trusts objectives are to advance the education of the pupils in the school and to raise funds for school improvements. The majority of the funds were raised through the following main fundraising events held this year; a Ladies Shopping Evening,, a Christmas Fayre, a Summer Fun Day, an Easter Egg Event, a quiz night and a camping weekend.

Receiving donations and involved in fundraising activities to support the work of 'helper' in Kigoma, Tanzania which is helping support vulnerable people and providing education and access to support particularly for women and girls.

Runs 2 Beaver Colonies, 3 Cub Packs and 3 Scout Troops. There are between 20 and 30 in most sections, mostly boys but an increasing number of girls. The emphasis throughout all sections is to have fun whilst being challenged in hands-on activities they don't get to do at school.

The association cater for the needs of voluntary groups in a diverse multicultural society, especially those which are disadvantaged in some way. The majority of user groups are, the under 5's, disabled people, older people, ethnic minorities and womens groups.

Through Church services, prayer and Bible study sessions that are open to the public without any restrictions. The Church also helps the community by providing help to the Medway Council - Early Help Department by supplying them with food, clothing and vouchers etc. The Church holds Women's conference every August where women come together in prayer. WEEKLY LUNCHEON CLUB AND DROP IN SERVICE FOR, DISABLED, ELDERLY, ISOLATED, LONELY AND DEPRESSED WOMEN IN THE REDBRIDGE AREA. WE PROVIDE YOGA AND KEEP FIT TO MUSIC SESSIONS, ADVICE AND INFORMATION SEMINARS ON A RANGE OF HEALTH AND SAFETY MATTERS, OUTREACH SERVICE PROVIDING HOME AND HOSPITAL VISITS. REGULAR CLINICS HELD BY PSYCHOLOGIST. VISITS AND TRIPS.

The purpose of the charity is to raise funds for an extension and new equipment for the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit at Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral. We do this through a series of fundraising activities run on an entirely voluntary basis. We have no paid employees

Provides financial assistance to clergy of the Church of England forced to retire early owing to ill-health. Widows, widowers and dependants can also apply for assistance.

To support and develop an ethically based tailoring project in India (jacobswell) designed to deliver vocational training and employment particularly to vulnerable women. To provide training and management expertise to grow jacobswell and to equip, train, educate both the employees of jacobswell and other vulnerable people with skills to enhance their prospects. .

The relief of poverty for persons:1. Who are, or have been employed by James Capel & Co., or its sucessor companies in business, or any company associated therewith or who are the wives, widows, husbands, widowers, children, parents or other dependants of any such persons: and2. Are in the opinion of the Trustees necessitous and deserving.

We provide activities including Kids Club ,Heart to Heart,Youth inclusion Project, Boys Group, Girls Group, Sports project, Home visit /one to one support, Return to learn for children young people an the wider community. In addition we offer ABC for those at risk of entering the criminal justice system.

We work with a Tanzanian NGO called TUMAINI, based in Tanga. We provide funds to support orphans to go to school and in Further Education; and small loans to their carers to help with small income-generating operations. We raise money by subscriptions, donations, sponsorships and fundraising events. Twice a year, we visit the schools, colleges and homes with the NGO to see the children and carers.

The Charity provides secure accommodation for elderly Ladies with local connections.

theMOVEMENT exists to restore every woman's right to exercise through partnering with different charities to provide access to exercise for women with multiple disadvantages. We currently operate in London.

HVDV IS AN ORGANISATION PROVIDING SUPPORT TO FAMILIES, INDIVIDUALS BOTH MALE AND FEMALE, AND CHILDREN/YOUNG PEOPLE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED DIFFICULTY, WHERE THAT DIFFICULTY IS RELATED TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THEIR ASSOCIATED ISSUES.OUR ORGANISATION AIMS TO REDUCE SUFFERING AND PROMOTE AND PRESERVE HEALTH AND WELLBEING, BY HELPING INDIVIDUALS TO SUSTAIN INDEPENDENCE

TO PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION, IN PLEASANT SURROUNDINGS, FOR LADIES AND GENTLEMEN AGED60 OR OVER WHO ARE EITHER SINGLE OR WIDOWED AND MUST HAVE BORN OR NOW RESIDE IN THEANCIENT PARISHES OF CHELTENHAM OR THE LEIGH. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO CARE FORTHEMSELVES IN ALL ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING.

Our community centre provides:- Monday 1000 Yoga Class, 1300 Circle Dance, 1930 Badminton. Tuesday 1000 Ladies Keep Fit, 1400 Tea Dance, 1900 Carpet Bowls. Wednesday 1000 Art Class, 1415 Ladies Club, 1900 Ballroom Dancing. Thursday 1000 Yoga Class, 1400 Carpet Bowls, 1930 Table Tennis. Friday 1400 Carpet Bowls, 1900 Sequence Dancing. Plus Saturday evening dances and carpet bowls social evenings.

Providing educational resources and equipment to special schools in Pakistan. Helping the poor and widows in day to day expenses. Providing help to flood victims in Pakistan. Also providing educational resources and general support to young Muslim prisoners at the Pentonville Prison in London with the courtesy of the prison's Imam. The Charity awards scholarships to women in their third year of doctoral studies at British universities on the basis of overall academic excellence. The awards are offered once a year following assessment by academics of submitted applications and then interview of short-listed candidates.
