Thorpe Nursery Preschool provides day care and education to children from 2-5 years in a purpose built setting. The nursery is housed in a listed old farmhouse building with extensive grounds for outside play and learning within the heart of Thorpe Village.

Tushinde Children's Trust works with highly vulnerable families who have young children living in informal settlements of Africa, particularly Nairobi, Kenya. We provide an intensive programme of support to families in crisis through four phases; crisis resolution, building on life skills, business training and graduation. Tushinde also does community work through daycare and schools.

Park Lane Nursery pre-school provides learning and development for children aged between 2 years 6 months and 4 years 11 months. We are open for 10 sessions per week - Mon-Fri 8.30am-11.30am / 12.00pm-3.00pm and9.00am -3.00pm.

We fund raise for new equipment and activities with cake sales each year, recycling toners with a money back scheme, use Easy Fundraising and children help raise money,creating Christmas Cards and sponsored events.

The Pre-school has been in the community for 50 years and is now the only one in the area providing much need places for the local children. Roundabout runs a daily term-time pre-school and toddler groups for parents/carers and their children on two mornings a week. We are inspected by Ofsted and received a grade of 'Good' in 2022. The focus of our preschool is on providing excellent free early years care and education for as many local families as possible.

Home-Start offers support, friendship and practical help to parents in local communities throughout the UK, and with British Forces in Germany and Cyprus.Home-Start offers a unique service, recruiting and training volunteers who are usually parents themselves , to visit families at home who have at least one child under 5 and offer informal , friendly and confidential support.
