Promotion of sporting activities for youth

A social welfare centre, recreation ground and, if the management committee think fit, a youth club, for the use of the beneficiaries without distinction of sex, race or of political, religious or other opinions, and in particular for use of meetings, lectures and classes and for the purpose of physical exercise and training and such other forms of education, recreation and leisure-time occupation

The principal activity is the provision in the interest of social welfare facilities for the recreation and leisure time occupation of disadvantaged young people with the objects of improving their lives.

BCA aims to enhance the life of the inhabitants of Barton by providing community facilities and developing and managing projects of a charitable nature. It has developed a strong record of developing and managing local projects such as a community cafe, social events, family activities, research, youth provision and learning with the core value of the work being led and owned by the community.

To engage with young people in Kingston and London area, particularly those in need, and deliver a programme of activities, projects and events that build their spiritual, social, emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. Change of Scene provides an outdoor learning environment to disadvantaged children and young people from Surrey and Hampshire who are struggling in education. Under predominantly one-to-one care young people learn animal care, horticulture and other skills; through nurture and hard work, we strive to build self-esteem and resilience to help young people cope with all of life's challenges.

Island House is a community centre providing education classes for adults; youth and family support projects; health promotion activities; and opportunities for inter-faith dialogue. Meeting rooms and offices are available for local community groups and charities that complement the work of the centre. A chapel offers Christian worship in the tradition of the United Reformed Church.

The charity supports the 10 churches within the Stafford circuit by the provision of ministers and lay workers to undertake Christian leadership through church services, pastoral work within the communities, schools & youth work.

HIT is an arts charity which aims to improve the well-being of people, particularly children and young people and those who are disadvantaged or disabled, by using the arts to build confidence and develop skills in an inclusive, fun, creative space.

Our church stands in the centre of Bury and has 477 parishioners on the Electoral Roll, in addition we have approx. 100 - 150 children and young people. We are continually working to reach out to the people of Bury,sending a Christian message but also ministering to all who are in any kind of need from any or no faith. The principal activity of the Rock will be the provision of a youth facility at the (former) Church of St Peter, Cheltenham and its adjacent hall. From April 2010 this facility has been available to all young people regardless of background providing both formal and informal activities and opportunities to develop skills, education, welfare and spiritual wellbeing.

Kazzum Arts provides opportunities for children and young people impacted by trauma and adversity.We facilitate trauma informed multi-disciplinary projects which encourage social and reflective skills, enabling young people to foster positive relationships and experience an increased sense of wellbeing.

Horses for Wellbeing supports the emotional, social and educational growth of young people in Gloucestershire. Our programme pairs children and young people with horses to improve emotional wellbeing, help build confidence, trust and life skills through therapeutic interactions.
