Activities & Mission
Promotes the study of astronomy, by providing public observing sessions, lectures, advice, a journal, telescope making facilities, a library, demonstrations, lecturers, a meeting place and outings to places of astronomical interest. A modest annual membership fee is charged, the aim being to cover expenses and provide a concessionary rate for unemployed, students, and Senior Citizens.
