The Trust will overhaul and operate the locomotive (71000 Duke of Gloucester) as closely as possible to its original condition, but accounting for modern demands. The overhaul of the locomotive has continued through the year. Tyseley Locomotive Works continues to employ an apprentice to focus on the locomotive.
