Advice and information service to the community.

We have been supporting people who work or have worked in printing, packaging and publishing since 1827. Our charitable aims include promoting independence, protecting dignity and furthering skills. We meet our aims through providing financial, emotional and practical support, including a free 24/7 helpline, and working with industry partners to champion the sector's emerging talent.

To ensure individuals do not lack knowledge of their rights and responsibilities or of the service available to them or through an inability to express their needs effectively, and equally to exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally.

The charity is established for the promotion of any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community in the area of Salford.

Edward Connor Solicitor seeks to achieve its objects by providing legal advice, trustee training andpractical advice services to churches, charities and organisations who are inagreement with, and conduct their affairs consistently with, the Statement of Faith. Further, an advice line is provided to all FIEC churches, providing 30 minutes of free advice on any matter.

Citizens Advice 1066 provides information, advice and guidance on the full range of advice issues, including debt, employment rights, benefits, housing and consumer issues. The service is free, confidential, impartial and independent. As well as giving advice we campaign to get policies changed. This is based on the experience and needs of our clients.

Advice Services

The Lantern is an independent charity, founded in 1983 which seeks to benefit vulnerable and marginised people in the Weymouth and Portland area through its resource centre and by working closely and professionally with other agencies. The Lantern offers a range of services including advocacy,housing, benefits advice, counselling, support groups, crisis response, frontline practical support.

To provide a range of legal advice and representation services to the most disadvantaged communities in Derbyshire.

To provide free, impartial advice and information regarding their rights and responsibilities to the people of Bath and District.

Promotes cycling for the benefit of the public (by providing expert advocacy to improve cycling policy, and also by directly encouraging/enabling people to cycle) for health, fun, environmental, social and economic reasons.

The following principal activities and services contribute to the achievement of our objectives; the provision of a telephone helpline, practical help in the home, classes, publications, clinical research, quarterly magazine, website, campaigning on issues that impact on the multiple birth community, specialist support groups, events, and links with local clubs and related organisations.

THE PROVISION OF LEGAL ADVICE AND REPRESENTATION TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHERE LEGAL AID IS NOT POSSIBLE; AND THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND ADVICE IN THE AREAS OF EDUCATION , WELFARE, HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE MISUSE.THE PROVISION OF TRAINING TO LAWYERS WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND CHILD RELATED MATTERS.

We provide independent and confidential specialist legal advice to residents of Northamptonshire .We provide a comprehensive casework service from the beginning to the conclusion of the case, including representation at court / tribunal if necessary, in the areas of Welfare Benefits, Immigration, Debt, Fuel Poverty and Housing.

Citizens Advice Shropshire offers free, confidential, independent, and impartial information, advice and casework services for residents of Shropshire and environs.

We support attendance at our annual scientific meeting by delegates who would otherwise be unable to afford it. We provide advocacy, mental health support work, community development work, youth work and specialist support around domestic violence and criminal justice to our membership. We have a community centre in Cross Green, Leeds but work via outreach and other community venues across West Yorkshire.
