The UNA Trust works closely with UNA-UK (charity registrations number 1146016) whose objectives are identical to the UNA Trust. UNA Trust makes grants in accordance with its objectives to support the efforts of the United Nations to relieve world poverty, hunger or distress, and to promote the study of international problems and institutions.

TO MAKE GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS

The trust gives grants to advance education in art, craft and design in Redditch and its neighbourhood.

Grants to residents of Dudley who are in condition of need, hardship or distress.

To make grants to individuals no more than 24 years of age at the first grant (but with power to continue the grants to 26 years) resident within the area of Wakefield Metropolitan Council where such individuals need grants for the payment of certain fees, outfits, travelling or maintenance expenses for their advancement in life or to enable them to earn their living.

GIVING OF GRANTS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES

EDUCATION FOR PEOPLE OF NEWARK / GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS & GROUPS

The Trust awards grants to organisations with charitable objects, principally to those operating in the North East of England. It also makes funding available for prizes to individuals who are students of institutions with charitable objects, again prinicpally in the North East of England.

TO PROVIDE GRANTS OF UP TO £200 TO COVER TRAVEL EXPENSES, PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT/CLOTHING FOR ANYONE WHO IS, OR HAS RECEIVED IN PATIENT TREATMENT WITHIN THE 3 HOSPITALS CONSISTING OF UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS OF LEICESTER I.E. LEICESTER ROYAL INFIRMARY, LEICESTER GENERAL HOSPITAL, GLENFIELD HOSPITAL.

School Parent Teacher Association for Mary Hare School for Deaf students. To provide funds for equipment, activities etc for the children at the school.

Help towards poverty, disaster area, health, eduation, help youth and senior citizens, grants to Organisations, Overseas aid, Economic Community Development, Education training etc

Grant giving to persons having been owners or occupiers of land.

Fund raising activities to provide funds and support for Borden Grammar School

THE CHARITY MAKES GRANTS AND DONATIONS TO ORGANISATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE ITS OBJECTS

The Objects of the Charity fall into two broad categories, educational and Christian. The Trust Deed specifically authorises the production and distribution of appropriate films and other audio-visual productions in furtherance of its charitable purposes. It may also make grants to individuals and organisations.

Raises money and makes grants to individuals and organisations

Makes grants for educational purposes to children and young people who either live or were educated or currently attend school in the Borough of Basingstoke and Deane. Applicants will be in financial need and grants may be awarded for school trips, travel, books, equipment or clothing.

Provide small grants to sports clubs in Chipping Norton and other villages in the area.

To make grants in December to elderly residents of Hove and Portslade who live alone.

Makes grants to youth, 10 widows and youth organisations in the Parish of Birchington with Acol.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain the welfare, in partiucular the relief of sickness and preservation of health, of the residents of Amberley. Activities include the provision of surgery/clinic premises and grants to eligible individuals or local organisations consistent with the objectives of the Trust.

Making annual grants to their clergy for the relief of need in the parishes of the city of Exeter and in the parish of Halberton, Devon; to any poor Freeman of the city; and to the Trustees of the Charity for distribution at their discretion.

THE APPLICATION OF THE CHARITY'S INCOME IN RELIEVING PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF WRENTHAM (AND IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES ELIGIBLE PERSONS RESIDING IMMEDIATELY OUTSIDE THAT PARISH) WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES TO REDUCE SUCH NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS.
