We are volunteers who raise funds for local causes in the GL15 and GL16 postcode areas of Gloucestershire. We assist other organisations in their fundraising or activities. We award grants to local charitable causes in the form of grants. We also donate to international disasters through Lions Club International.

Educational grants to (a) voluntary aided schools and (b) any such school in the area of benefit; (c) individuals under 25 years who are resident, attend college or further education, or are employed in the area of benefit and are in need of financial assistance for educational or preparation for entry into employment purposes. Grants are not available towards private school fees.

THE CHURCH CHARITY PROVIDES GRANTS TO THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL OF ST JAMES CHURCH SMISBY TO ENABLE THAT ORGANISATION TO APPLY SUCH GRANTS IN MAINTAINING ST JAMES CHURCH, ITS CHURCHYARD AND CHURCHYARD GATES, AND IN OTHERWISE MAINTAINING THE SERVICES THEREAT.

UniArk provides free admission support to students from persecuted/vulnerable communities. Our support includes personalised feedback on the admission application as well providing small grants to our students where necessary to remove financial barriers. These grants include admission related costs such as English tests which are too expensive for some of our students from developing countries.

Funds are raised primarily from the catholic community in the parish of St Gregory the Great, Stratford-upon-Avon.

TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE ART OF LITERATURE AND IN PARTICULAR TO PROMOTE LITERATURE OF HIGH MERIT PUBLISHED BY SMALL PRESSES IN THE UK AND ROI BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO PRACTITIONERS AND PRODUCERS OF LITERARY FICTION AND THE PROMOTION OF SUCH LITERATURE TO THE PUBLIC. OUR PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY IS TO RUN THE ANNUAL REPUBLIC OF CONSCIOUSNESS PRIZE.

We give grants to charities operating in Africa for overseas development. We do NOT accept applications, however, so please do not send us any.

The charity helps museums, libraries and the National Trust to acquire archives and works of art and makes grants towards the conservation of historic buildings, in both cases where there is a connection with the Society of Dilettanti. The charity's Normanby Fund makes an annual travel award for visiting classical sites and museums in Greece, Italy or the Eastern Mediterranean.
