The charity holds fundraising events and organised occasional activities to assist the work of Maidstone's museums and create greater access to their collections. The objects of the Society shall be to advance the education of the public in the subject of History, and to facilitate historical research, by the publication, distribution and interpretation of records relating to the history of the County of Oxfordshire.
