To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in the appreciation of the art and science of orchestral music in all its aspects.

Woodton United Charities is a trust that provides grants for people living in the village of Woodton in Norfolk (near Bungay), whose current circumstances would allow them to benefit from financial assistance. We are particularly interested in hearing from pensioners, disabled people (or their carers), and young people embarking on an apprenticeship or a course in further/higher education.

We are a small Family Trust making grants (maximum £2,000) to registered charities (not individuals). Our principal areas of interest are children and families, the disadvantaged and the disabled, small charities operating in developing countries and emphasising self help and environmental projects. In the UK, we focus on the South and South West. Appeals accepted by email only.

Supply of funds in the form of grants to places of worship for the purpose of restoration of the fabric of the building

The Trustees make grants to social housing providers operating in the St Helens area for the benefit of tenants and residents, who are elderly and live in the St Helens area. The objective is assist in the provision of housing and associated benefits for such tenant and residents.

Promotion and financial support of Symphony Concerts by Worthing Symphony Orchestra and other public musical events in furtherance of its objectives to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music. Concerts could not be held for a long period due to Covid but have now resumed

The aims of the society are to offer support to all families with deaf children, irrespective of level of deafness or method of communication. Provide social activities where deaf children and their families can meet with each other. To ensure that families of deaf children have access to information about education technology and services. To campaign for the rights of deaf children.

The trust deed allows charitable grants to be made to any charitable foundation, institutions or individual (for charitable purposes) that the trustees see fit. The trustees continue to support principally, but not exclusively, Jewish charitable causes and have a particular interest in continuing their support in the areas of higher education, medical research and welfare support.

Grants to encourage the awareness and application of environmental care and sustainability. Smaller up & coming charities. As the climate and ecological crisis is the defining issue of our time, we are giving this priority.

The Charity is a mixed chamber choir. Five to six choral concerts are performed annually. Every year the Charity makes grants to deserving young candidates following acceptance into the Choir as choral scholars.

THE TRUSTEES HAVE DECIDED TO FULFIL THESE OBJECTIVES THROUGH A PROGRAMME OF GRANT MAKING.

THE CHARITY MAKES DONATIONS TO MASONIC AND NON MASONIC ORGANISATIONS FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES.

Assist members of the Dawn Christadelphian fellowship in West Africa by means of visits, preaching activities and the supply of Christian literature including correspondence courses. Make welfare grants to members and their families for cost of living and medical expenses as required.

We give grants to individuals and organisations and sponsor research to advance education and the dissemination of knowledge (in particular in relation to prostitution).

Wansdyke Primary is based in Bristol City and is a small school with a small PTA to provide funds for play equipment, books and improvements (ie IPOD etc )to each class as well as the school as a whole.

The Charity makes grants to individuals to promote and encourage the continuing education and training in medicine of doctors, nurses and midwives working in the area and of others concerned with the treatment of patients within the area. To promote medical research and its dissemination.

The support of a brass band and the provision of guidance and training to its members. The education of the public in the art of brass band music through the presentation of concerts and other musical activities.
