The organisation of fund-raising events to provide funds to make grants to relieve poverty among old people and other necessitous persons residing in the City of Chichester and the immediate vicinity.

The extension of the awareness of the truth of the Bible and its teaching by the publication and circulation of relevent literature, and the arranging of public meetings. The charity makes grants of selected study books to students at Bible Colleges, Theological Seminaries etc.

Fund raising events are held locally. They include a Classic Car Run, a Cycling Sportive & a stall at the Victorian Day. Some donations are made directly by members of the Rotary Club of Chipping Sodbury to Rotary International's own charity (the Rotary Foundation).Funds raised go partly towards grants to registered charities (local & international). Some goes to individuals who meet our aims.

The Hallifax Trust provides grants and bursaries primarily for the primary school serving the parish of Shimpling, also for people under the age of 25 who either attended Shimpling School or whose parents live in Shimpling. If there are any funds left in any year not required for the above it may be used for charitable purposes for the general benefit of the residents of Shimpling.

Short term Educational Grants to children whose parents are experiencing financial difficulties as a result of employment crises, illness or death.

Managing investments & land. Grants to individuals in apprenticeships & further education & in need in Marston area.

The objectives of the Trust are to make grants for the benefit of religious, educational and social institutions mainly in the UK and Israel and for the furtherance of such other charitable purposes or charitable institutions, as the Trustees may determine.

Scouting activities for boys and girls between the ages of 4 to 14 carried out in accordance with the policy, organisation and rules of the Scout Association.

We support people with hearing loss in Derby/Derbyshire with 17 monthly outreach sessions in the community supporting people with advice, hearing aid servicing and to reduce social isolation as well as two sessions weekly in the local hospital. We also have a wide variety of assistive equipment for demonstration and offer training, presentations to groups as well as campaigning for better services

Making grants to other charities and individuals for charitable purposes.

To receive subscriptions, donations and bequests and to pay donations to any body or institution established for solely charitable purposes whether Masonic or non-Masonic, and to assist members of the Gippeswyk Lodge and the wives, children and other dependants of such persons being in need of financial assistance, by making grants or i n such other ways as the Trustees shall think fit.

To advance public education about all aspects of Arab Islamic culture, including architecture, visual arts, music and literature by holding lectures and exhibitions and receiving applications for grants, support or sponsorship

Active Steam Engine Museum and Educational Facility preserving and promoting the historic industrial past of the Charles Burrell Company of Thetford in Norfolk. 100% run by volunteers and financed from grants and donations and also the revenue generated from an in house shop, cafe and outside demonstrations of our steam traction engines.

The trustees continue their policy of assisting former employees and dependents of Homfray & Co Ltd and Ness Hall Ltd. About 70% of income is distributed to 10 charities and organisations, many having links with West Yorkshire, particularly Halifax and Batley, where many of the former employees still live.

Religious Activities to assist Christian Married Couples. The charity makes grants to individuals and acts as an umbrella or resource body

We issue grants to support the health and wellbeing of those in need residing in the City of Leeds Metropolitan District during convalescence. Examples of grants are medical equipment (nebulisers, wheelchairs), helping to fund support groups (mental health, terminal illness), community outreach projects and day trips for adults and children with disabilities.

Playgroups to parties, caravan rallies to theatre nights, garden societies to church services, bridge clubs to wedding functions. To assist employees, retired employees of Adcock Shipley Ltd and Bridgeport Machines Ltd and their dependents and to make grants to other organisations/individuals such as the Trustees may determine

Encourage the breeding, maintenance & improvement of breed standards for Holstein cattle & the promotion of show, sales, other events, production & circulation of publicity material & information to advance the education of the public in the knowledge of Holstein Cattle. Encourage & educate young people by offering of scholarships & bursaries.

By grants to people and organisations living within a 10 mile radius of Monmouth Town. Grants for general charitable purposes, education, disability, relief of poverty.

To provide funds for holidays anywhere in the UK for disadvantaged children from the Manchester area. To help maintain holiday/convalescent homes in Derbyshire for disadvantaged children from anywhere in the UK.

The Hopton Trust was originally founded by Frances Hopton in early 1700 to provide education for needy children in Cam.Today the Trust own and maintain the original Schoolhouse which is used as a Childcare setting, providing: breakfast, out of school and holiday clubs, as well as a playgroup.The Trust provide funds for Cam Hopton School leavers bibles and mugs and for set projects.

Grants to Rotary Clubs to enable them to provide holidays for children and young people who are under 18 years of age and who are in need of financial assistance.

The Royal Welch Fusiliers Officers Benevolent fund makes grants and loans to benevolence cases brought to its attention though the regimental network. The beneficiaries are those officers, and their dependants, who hold a RWF Commission including those who now serve in the Royal Welsh. Grants are also made to charitable activities of the RWF Officers Association.
