Makes grants to people

We work with a list of regular beneficiaries, but we also make grants to charities who meet the ethos of our trust, i.e. mainly Christian organisations working with the poor and disadvantaged.

Grants to students (post 16 education) and apprentices.Grants to widows of the parish.Grants to the poor (post retirement).Grants to pensioners.

Have given grants to Hundon Educational Foundation to enable them to support parishioners under the age of 25 with educational activities. Have given grants to the Ecclesiastical Charity to enable them to provide disabled access and alarms to the church etc. Provided allotment areas to 10 new parishioners. Continued with allotment areas for 28 other parishioners. Rented approx 36 acres farmland

Grant Making Trust

General charitable purposes providing grants to organisations which are other charities/voluntary bodies.

Education and Training, Medical Health and Sickness, Disability, Relief of Poverty for Children and Young People, Elderly and Old People and people with Disabilities. The charity makes grants to individuals and organisations. The charity operates exclusively within the Parish of Crosby Ravensworth, in Cumbria.

Giving grants to people studying Religious Education

Greyfriars Trust exists to make grants to charities focusing on homelessness, aid to children, disability, poverty and education for deprived individuals. Specific interest is in areas local to Bristol and Brighton.

The Charity distributes grants to individuals in financial need in Hertford and the parishes of the rural district. Nominees come from local organizations such as the CAB, Social Services, NHS Primary Care trust and the local churches. The grants can be released very quickly on the verbal agreement of 3 trustees and the grants are later formally approved at a trustee meeting.

TO ASSIST OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS BY MAKING GRANTS TO THEM.

Organise various fundraising events/activities throughout the year including a well supported Summer Fayre, family events such as chocolate bingo at Easter & Christmas. Host film nights, cake bakes, fashion show evenings etc. Run end of term events such as School Discos & Non-uniform days for all year groups. Offer pre-loved uniform rail throughout the year & seasonal item pop up swap shops.

The charity is mainly involved with giving donations to other UK organisations who give donations to individuals and organisations operating overseas including Eastern Europe, Africa and India for the relief of poverty and the advancement of Christianity. This includes helping with such things as housing, heating and feeding schemes and medical bills including special diets.

Income from allotment rents and given in Educational Grants to students in further education who live in the Parish. There is no age restrictions.

The purpose of the charity is to create, raise and administer a fund to be used for making financial contributions towards any one or more of the maintenance, repair, restoration and replacement (which may include an element of improvement) of, and to legal obligations to, the structure, the fixtures and the fittings of All Saints' Church, Odiham, together with its churchyard.

The Charity provides grants to individuals and organisations in need of financial assistance which are located in Thurrock, Essex.

Run a small shop - Christian, local and childrens books, cards, traidcraft goods, tea, coffee etc. A meeting place for people as well as a shop to buy from.

Fundraising for Rhws Primary School in Rhoose to provide funds to purchase teaching resources as well as resources that support the wellbeing of all pupils.

Makes grants to promote Christian principles in human relationships and social morality within the Diocese of Salisbury.

Noddfa Trust makes grants to individuals and organisations for general charitable purposes, education & training, the relief of poverty and religious activities

The provide grants to Christian work as more fully outlined in the charity governing document.

Southport Photographic Society aims to advance the education of the public in the theory and practice of photography as an art. To further this aim the Society organises:(i) public exhibitions of photographs, photographic art and apparatus. (ii) public lectures and demonstrations of all aspects of photography. (iii) public outings to places of photograhic interest.

We regularly fund raise for local organisations and our WI charity ACWW. Fund raising activities include pop up cake shops and craft tables at local fetes

To promote, improve,develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, choral music by the presentation of public concerts and by such other ways as the Society through its Committee shall determine from time to time
