Grant making

Financial assistance for the less well off in Lynchmere, Hammer and Camelsdale as well as providing grants to organisations located in that area where such organisations are perceived to be providing a service or help to the community.

To award grants to charitable organisations and causes based within the West Midlands Combined Authority (2016) (Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Wolverhampton), in order that said grants would benefit these communities and their activities.

For people in need who dwell in the parish of Burnham, referred to us by Social Services. Citizens Advice Bureau, Burnham Health Centre, Schools, etc. We provide furniture, white goods, school uniforms, school trip funding, carer's holidays etc. We support the Burnham Lighthouse Project and Thames Hospice Care. We distribute about 300 christmas parcels at about £20 each.

MAKE GRANTS TO CHILDREN AGED 18 YEARS AND UNDER FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of choral and other music. This is done in three ways, Concerts, working with the local Community and Primary School and Choir Tours

GRANTS TO CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS

Providing grants to Churches and other Christian Charities, Aid Agencies, Educational Charities and for Aid Work Overseas

Fund raising included Skittles night, Bingo night, Raffles, Open Garden, Coffee Mornings, Bag Packing at local Supermarkets, Shop and Local table top sales and the Hospital Tea Trolley.

The objects of the charity are to apply the whole or any part of the income to any properly constituted Boys' Club or body carrying on similar work in Great Britain. In recent years the charity has made grants to Youth Clubs, to vacation projects to enable children from less well off families to attend holiday breaks run by charities, and to Scout and Girl Guide groups, among other organisations.

The charity provides grants to its member groups to encourage arts events to take place in the Stafford District Council area.

Education of the public in the arts of sciences of music, with particular reference to music presented by marching bands together with an element of comedy, by means of concerts and other activities to which the public has access. AS PER SCOUTING POLICY, ORGANISATION AND RULES

By means of local fund-raising events, the charity provides grants to individuals and local, national and international charities as well as providing support to local organisations.

The object of the Group is to further the aim of the Scout Association in accordance with its method as defined in its policy organisation and rules

The policy of the Trust is to support charities involved with the Arts/Heritage/Health/Penal Reform and others in which the Trustees are familiar.
