Step (UK) Ltd is an international development charity, working to improve the lives of vulnerable children in the Kurdish region of Iraq. We sponsor front-line work such as a children's drop-in centre and more strategic work such as the implementation of the first foster care policy in the region. We have also sponsored child protection projects in camps for refugees and displaced Iraqi people.

PROVISION OF GRANTS IN AID FOR CHARITIES (AND EXCEPTIONALLY INDIVIDUALS) ENGAGED IN THE RESCUE, MAINTENANCE AND BENEFIT OF CRUELLY TREATED ANIMALS.

We raise funds throughout the year, and make grants and hold events for charities and community organisations to fulfil our charitable objectives and help the most disadvantaged people in our community.

Raises funds from Country Fairs and makes grants to charities particularly those relating to children in East Anglia and Derbyshire where most of the funds are raised.

To relieve children and young people in the County of Surrey in conditions of need, hardship or distress, by such means as are chaitable in law and in particular to co-operate with or make grants to other charities, voluntary bodies and statutory or local authorities in Surrey, who are working towards the same objective.

The Counselling Centre gives support to vulnerable people in the community by providing them with the tools to make decisions that will help them, their families, friends and others. Adults and children are helped through a personalised and sympathetic counselling service. Homeless/vulnerable people and substance users are helped providing meals, clothes, advocacy and advice.

Charitable grants made

Our Foundation raises income from running fundraising activities such as charity balls, auctions, raffles, sponsored walks, donations and other events. The net profits are totally distributed in financial grants to deserving cancer sufferers and their families in the County of Dorset. Additionally we support other Dorset based organisations involved in the treatment and care of cancer patients.

Age Concern London undertakes campaigning work to secure sustainable changes that will improve the lives of older Londoners and ensure that the voices of older Londoners are heard and acted upon by decision makers.

Provides support to enable disabled people to live independent lives by providing advice, support and advocacy. The Charity also manages employment support projects enabling disabled people to become more work ready.

KAWACC provides a range of services including advice and guidance,educational classes, health activities and youth clubs. We developing healthy and strong communities e.g. cohesion strategy, tackling extremism, helping reduce obesity, young people at risk of Anti-Social Behavior and providing diversionary activities and training programmes.

The principal activity of the company is to provide funds for a school.

UKLA presents an informed national voice on language, literacy and communication issues. The Association organises conferences, training, publications and research in order to encourage dialogue between research and teaching and challenge and shape policy developments.

Giving free advice on clients rights and responsibilities

Euston Foodbank is a food bank operating under the Trussell Trust umbrella, where volunteers redistribute donated food to people in need in our community around the Euston mainline station in the London borough of Camden. Emergency food packages are provided to people for vouchers or letters from the agency supporting them, such as citizens advice, support workers, job centre, social services.

The charity makes grants to organisations and individuals in the City of Westminster for the relief of need.

To advance the religion of Islam for the benefit of the public through the holding prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and/or distributing literature on the Islamic faith to enlighten others about the Islamic religion.To advance the education of the public on the subject of Islamic religion.

Conservation, protection and improvement of the environment including the protection of biological diversity, preservation of natural resources, particularly waters, and the mitigation against the effects of climate change and/or to advance the education of the public in these issues.

We are a grant making charity which supports appeals and not for profit organisations where donations will have a real and immediate impact. We prefer smaller charitable institutions and specialised or local branches of larger charitable institutions. However, at present unsolicited applications are not being considered.
