The Kempston Charities distributes grants to residents, schools and organisations within Kempston in particular for those with social needs i;e; for the poor and needy. The Trustees meet three times a year and letters of grant application should be sent to the Clerk.

The Educational Foundation of Cater and Others makes grants to residents, schools and organisations within the urban and rural areas of Kempston for educational needs. The Trustees meet three times a year and applicants are asked to forward an application by letter to the Clerk.
