OYA runs a cluster of projects for African youngsters and their families on a council estate: a supplementary school (English, Maths, Science) for 11-16 years olds, a culture programme (African choir, dance, drama), a trainee scheme (paid Saturday jobs and training in youth work and administration) for 16-18 year olds, and a Family Programme including advice, advocacy and volunteering.

Educational grants to young people under the age of 25 resident within Sheffield city boundary.Grants are available to both individuals and to youth organisations.Grants are made to cover Gap year trips, sporting and musical tuition and towards education, usually below tertiary level.Grants are also made to local Church schools and to Church-based youth work.

Charity raising Funds via a Local Charity Shop, those funds dissapaited via grant funding or donations to other local community groups and organisations within the town and it surrounding villages.

The objective is the education of the public in the study, practice and appreciation of the art of the recorder and its repertoire in the UK and Ireland through group playing, skilled direction, training in conducting and other skills and promotion of a Solo Recorder competition. Grants are made to relevant organisations and individuals in need.

Our activities are:1) The relief of persons injured by asbestos or who have asbestos related diseases, their families and carers and who are in need by reason of their ill health, disability' financial circumstances or other disadvantage, by providing support information, advocacy and advice.2) The education of the public about the hazards posed by asbestos and the diseases it causes

DDP works with partner organisations to help build a society where disabled and other marginalised and vulnerable people have equal social, economic and civil rights. DDP creates opportunities in education for disabled children, including deaf children, sets up socio-economic programmes and supports partner organisations to advocate for disabled people's rights and influence public policy.

The Mothers' Union works to support families both locally and worldwide by fulfilling our aims and objects. Work is undertaken by members who are involved in social policy issues and who raise funds to support our overseas work. On a local level our members offer practical support to families in Lancashire and throughout the Anglican Communion.

Running a synagogue, and charitable grants

The charity provides: 1) - financial assistance for gamekeepers and people in similar occupations and their spouses who are in need;2) - assistance in the education of young persons wishing to become gamekeepers;3) - financial grants for those eligible in times of hardship, ill health and retirement;4) - a helpline service which provides information and support for beneficiaries.

The Charity's activities support people who have experienced baby loss during pregnancy, at birth or in infancy and those journeying infertility. This is fulfilled by providing online and befriender support, counselling, resources, education, training, advocacy and Global Remembrance Events (240 to end of 2024), as well as campaigning for improvements in clinical care and support.

Supports individuals and animal welfare organisations that rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs by giving grants for the payment of veterinary bills and for their care. Educate the public in matters pertaining to responsible pet ownership, animal welfare and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals, with a focus on the practices of commercial-scale dog breeding.
