The Leslie Smith Foundation is a grant making body with general charitable purposes. Without surrendering their discretion, the Trustees have decided to focus mainly on charities supporting: children in the UK with life changing medical conditions, hospices, education and special needs schools in the UK and recipients of previous grants.

The repair & restoration of Christian Churches in the area of the Diocese of Chelmsford, through grant giving

We are a charity, based in Brighton and Hove, devoted to helping rough sleepers and the homelessthrough the provision of support, advocacy, clothing and self-care items.

Partington Theatre Club Limited operates a community theatre in Glossop by presenting 6No. drama plays per year including a Pantomime. We have a Youth Group section who also perform plays.The club is open to all public and to advance the education of the public in the arts in particular.

NATECLA is the national forum and professional organisation for teachers of English for adult speakers of other languages (ESOL) and community languages in the UK. We provide high quality training for teachers through conferences, webinars, online forums and a journal. We provide expert advice to government bodies and other agencies, and campaign to promote ESOL and community languages.

Grant making re relief of hardship, Friends education and advancement of religion among members and attenders of North East Thames Area Meeting (formerly Ratcliff and Barking Monthly Meeting) and members and attenders of other Area and Yearly Meetings and other institutions of the Religious Society of Friends.

To provide grants towards board and accommodation costs for men and women professionally engaged in literature, music or the fine arts, where those in need would be able to work or rest in peaceful surroundings for short periods.

To relieve the suffering of horses, foals and ponies and in particular to provide and maintain a sanctuary for such unwanted animals and treat the sick or ill. To provide a good quality of life for our charges, and develop a role for them within the community, for the benefit of the wider public. We have a policy, where appropriate, to re-home suitable horses or ponies.

A heritage centre in renovated lock cottages next to Beeston Weir and The River Trent depicting life on the waterways and the history of the Beeston Cut. There is also a small gift shop, tea rooms and community garden with allotment plots which are to be used by local schools and beehives. Open all year round 7 days a week.

Advancing the education of the public in Bridport, Dorset and the surrounding area through the provision of a museum and historical reference centre.

Promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church. Based in St Mary's Church, Atherstone we offer a place of Christian worship, generally advance the Christian religion teaching, conduct Christian based religeous services and ceremonies including baptisms, weddings and funerals. We also provide space for community events. We make grants to Christian organisations.

The Together Centre Charity provides meaningful support services for local Families and Communities within a thriving Community Hub, and our ambition is to support and encourage empowering positive outcomes whilst demonstrating inclusive and equal participation for Tameside and it's wider Communities. We also have a Food Pantry and Charity Shop to help those struggling financially.

The object of the MOD Boscombe Down Officers' Mess is:The promotion of military efficiency by the provision and support of mess, social, sporting and other facilities for the efficiency and well-being of Servicemen and Servicewomen.
