The charity makes grants to charities generally and also for religious activities and the arts.

The purpose of the Charity is to provide relief through grants to residents of Halse who suffer financial hardship or other distress; and to give financial support through grants to enable residents to undertake educational or vocational courses or to engage in philanthropic activities.
