Age Concern Appleby & District have two shops in the town. both run entirely by volunteers. We have no paid staff what so ever and all money raised, after expenses, rates, rents etc is given to local charities and groups which help and care for older people in the Appleby District.

We provide a space for worship and community activities. We operate from a church and hall. We hold services for worship and community activities such as coffee shop.

Giving grants to charities chosen by the pupils of Radnor House Sevenoaks

The charity makes grants to charitable bodies for such charitable purposes as the trustees in their absolute discretion determine

(1) Awarding grants to persons under the age of 25, who live or are educated within the parish, for the furtherance of their education. (2) Providing grants to St Pauls C of E School for the furtherance of religious knowledge. (3) Providing grants to the Sunday School for the furtherance of religious knowledge.

Our activites are principally that of a grant making trust. We work closely with the organisations we support which may include providing advice and guidance on areas relating to their activities. The Trustees adopt a proactive approach to grant making meaning unsolicited applications are usually unable to be supported.

Advancing and maintaining the Christian Religion through the production and distribution of Christian literature, the provision of Christian instruction and the provision of buildings and equipment for Christian instruction and worship; the relief of the sick, infirm and poor living in undeveloped countries either generally or individually through the provision of grants, goods or services.

Co-ordinate and support scouting activities in the Southampton City area according to the charter and policy, organisation and rules of the scout association.

The Trust was set up to receive donations for the benefit of Headington School as a separate Charitable Trust. All income is passed by way of grants to Headington School Oxford Ltd.

At Home Foundation is a charity operating in the UK. Its mission is to provide aid and support to immigrants to find new homes and to integrate into society, while preserving their traditions, heritage and culture. We help individuals and provide grants to support other NGOs' activities relating to immigrants in relieving poverty, promoting social inclusion and education for the public benefit.

VLV works to represent UK citizen and consumer interests in broadcasting and speaks for listeners and viewers on the full range of broadcasting issues. We use independent expertise to champion quality and diversity in programming, respond to consultations, write policy briefings, run events and conferences and work for public service broadcasting that informs, educates and entertains.

The primary activity of the Charity is welfare assistance whereby assistance is given towards the cost of treating owned animals and in the case of feral and stray animals all of the cost is met.We have a telephone 'help line' whereby we receive calls from members of the public and deal with their enquiries.Continuation of a cat neutering scheme incorporating a micro-chipping arrangement.

Makes grants to facilitate the development of the game of rugby football anywhere in the world.

Alongside selling Christian books, we run a cafe in which we offer a relaxed welcoming atmosphere where customers can talk together and with our staff and volunteers, some of whom have additional needs. We seek to support the elderly, disabled, vulnerable and homeless. We welcome secondary school pupils for work experience. Profits make grants to children and young peoples' organisations.

The objects of the charity are the promotion of good health and relief of sickness and relief of need for the public benefit by providing grants to registered, excepted and exempt charities and other organisations.

Oxygen House Foundation makes donations to charities or charitable causes as proposed and decided by the trustees.

Gay & Peter Hartley's Hillards Trust makes grants to charities that support children's welfare, care for the elderly, mental/physical health, disability, & hospices. Grants are made up to £1,000 to local charities in towns in 11 counties in north and central England - mainly in Yorkshire, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire.
