The Smallwood Trust's mission is to enable women to be financially resilient. Our funding is allocated under three main programmes: 1) grants to women-led and women focused third sector organisations 2) grants and support to individuals in need and 3) funding to amplify policy issues and solutions to gender poverty

Cathy Wills Charitable Trust is a grant making trust that makes awards to other registered charities engaged in the welfare of the elderly, disabled and children, and to educational and cultural organisations.

The Trust aims to relieve poverty by providing financial assistance directly to the extreme poor and allowing them to choose where they invest.The Trust collects donations and make grants to direct financial assistance programs in Kenya and Uganda implemented on the ground by its partner GiveDirectly, Inc., a US non-profit organisation.

Independent living support, accessible transport services, supported employment training, training and personal development, personalcare support, community development, disabled & inclusive children's services, NVQ centre, welfare benefit/rights support, advocacy, integrated provision for deaf people (adults & young people), equipment service, dial-a-wheelchair, volunteering (all abilities).

The objects of the charity are to promote the relief of people, who through disability or ill health are unable, without assistance, to obtain their full rights and privileges as citizens.

Lancashire Women's Centres offer support in a non-judgemental, confidential and safe environment. Services include complex casework, mental health interventions, money, benefit and debt advice, training, mentoring and volunteering opportunities. We are open to all women but have specific focus on those with mental health needs and those with an offending history. We have 5 bases in Lancashire.

Southall Black Sisters provides a holistic specialist support service in relation to all forms of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and honour-based abuse including forced marriage, FGM and other harmful practices. We combine crisis intervention work with long-term advocacy, policy and campaigning work that stems directly from our front-line experience.

To provide financial support to charities and local good causes in times of crisis and to build community resilience longer term through direct support and involvement of Asda colleagues locally in stores through our grant giving programmes.

Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham provide a range of community and in-patient services for people who are experiencing mental health and emotional issues living in the London boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Newham. We work with people through one to one support and group work, counselling, advice and advocacy, employment and training as well as complementary therapies.

Providing accessible, quality and gender sensitive enterprise; employment, education, management development services to women. Supporting women in the improvement of health and wellbeing. Stimulating research to support women's economic development. Influencing policy to improve the position of women. Delivering gender friendly incubator and meeting spaces.Maintaining a sustainable organisation

The activiites include:organisation and administration of safe motherhood projects around the world, designed to reduce maternal mortality in low and middle resource countries;awarding of modest grants to societies involved in the organisation of national workshops on maternal mortality and safe motherhood ;organisation of international workshops and meetings; awarding of fellowships;

We offer specialist advice, representation and advocacy, and our aim is to use the law to seek change, so that those facing poverty or disadvantage, discrimination or exclusion are better able to take a full and active part in society.

Grant-making charity

The principal activity of the charity is to make grants for the benefit of children, their welfare, protection and care.

1) We fund raise to make grants to HFH projects in the UK and around the world.2) We support partner organisations around the world in project design,execution, monitoring and evaluation.3) We recruit, train and equip volunteer teams to send to HFH projects in the UK and around the world.

LEI works with partner organisations in Sub Saharan Africa to:(1)To improve schools and the quality of education they deliver so that children have better opportunities(2)To build the capacity of district departments of education (3)To support government education policy and to inform national and regional strategies (4)To facilitate partnerships between European and African education sectors.

The trust awards grants to charitable institutions within its limited resources as selected by the trustees.

Milton Keynes YMCA's main focus is to support young people to truly belong, contribute and thrive within their communities. We do this through the provision of: Homeless project, residential units, advice and guidance services and extensive activity programmes. We work in partnership with other organisations across the sector in MK, Luton, Beds and Northants.

The provision of high quality support and advice to meet the needs of children, young people and adults with a learning disability. This includes support and advice to families and carers. The major areas of activity are : day services, residential services, community support, befriending and advocacy.

Supporting women and children or their dependants who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence. Operating a 24 hour freephone helpline, a drop in service, outreach support for women and children, independent domestic violence advocate service, RISE support schemes, refuge provision, pets fostering scheme and domestic violence training for individuals and agencies.
