The Objects of the charity are:- to provide funds for any charitable purpose, or purpose relating to the National Health service; to relief of sickness by promoting the efficient performance of their duties by staff; for the relief of patients treated by Stockport NHS Foundation Trust ; to further the aim of advancing scientific or medical research and for staff development.

Improving science education for all young people, primarily but not exclusively across the UK. This is achieved by supporting science educators, including trainees, teachers, technicians, initial teacher educators and others in the sector through conferences, journals and resources, curriculum and professional development programmes and contributions to research and policy debates.

PAMIS works with families caring for a child or an adult with profound and multiple learning disabilities by offering practical help and advice; a training workshop programme; individual support; the opportunity to influence policy and services at local and national levels; and a library and information service.

Disability Law Service provides a high quality legal service for disabled people, their families, enablers and carers. Charity also provides specialist information and advice and training to other disability organisations and service providers.

This charity provides grants for relief in need, education, recreation and leisure ONLY for current residents of Huntingdon (defined as the Huntingdon Town Council's area). Grants are considered monthly by Trustees in response to applications from individuals directly or from organisations providing relevant services to residents of Huntingdon.

The principal objective is to provide funds for the purpose of supplementing, in such manner as the Charity thinks fit, the resources of the Hospital principally by arousing and maintaining public interest in the Hospital.

Conservation, restoration and protection of historic stained glass of all periods; creation of new windows. Active throughout the UK. Responsible for the care and protection of the stained glass of York Minster on behalf of the Chapter of York . Condition surveys and specialist reports including art historical research. In-house training and internship opportunities. Education of the public.

To raise funds for the hospital through its branch network.To further research,study,advances in treatment and improvement in care at the hospital.To help patients and former patients of the hospital.Provide support from its central office and provide a well run shop and coffee shop through a combination of paid and volunteer staff.

Grant giving

To relieve the trauma and distress of people who have suffered sexual assault as well as those who support them and to advance the education of the public on the extent and the effects of rape.

FORWARD is an African women-led organisation working to end violence against women and girls. From female genital mutilation and child marriage to domestic and sexual violence, we tackle abuse and discrimination, enabling African women and girls to have the dignity, health and equality they deserve. We provide training, advice, support, research and advocacy to shape policies and programmes.

We are an independent charity providing information, advocacy, counselling and support to relieve the needs and distress of any person living or working in Warwickshire and surrounding areas who has experienced rape, sexual abuse, sexual violence and sexual exploitation, regardless of age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, religion or other protected characteristic.

Plays an advocacy role in safeguarding the historic built environment across Hampshire by promoting the conservation & sustainable reuse of heritage buildings that might otherwise fall into disrepair or be lost. Advocates for sensitive restoration practices, supports projects that bring redundant or at-risk buildings back into meaningful use & helps influence planning and conservation decisions.

Provision of almshouses for older people and grants to individuals

Our mission is to use theatre combined with information, advice and guidance to inspire and support those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We act as a catalyst for people to make changes in their lives. We also aim to improve public understanding and awareness by creating and performing works about the experiences of homeless and socially excluded people, with those people.

The making of grants to Ministers, Retired Ministers and their Widows who are members of the United Reformed or Baptist churches and also students who are studying for ministries in these churches and attending certain specified colleges. Preference is given to those fro the Northern Counties of England. The management of Almshouses belonging to the trust in York

We provide specialist and peer support, advocacy and information, campaign against discrimination, promote positive attitudes and equitable access to health, and strive to increase the involvement, voice and visibility of people living with HIV..

To prevent cruelty and relieve the suffering and distress of wildlife needing care and attention.Advance the education of the public in the study of wildlife, wildlife first aid and rehabilitation, conservation and the prevention of cruelty to animals.

The policy of Hachzokas Torah Vechessed Charity continues to be to derive its income from donations from various institutions and individuals and to make donations in accordance with the TrustÔÇÖs objects.
