This last year grants have been awarded to support the Bennett Music Academy and the DoE Award Scheme. A ?500K grant has also been set aside for a new 6th Form Centre due to be ready in Jan 2014.

Provides grants to JIB operatives and JIB registered apprentices, who wish to undertake further education or training in the Electrotechnical sector over and above what is required under the JIB grading structure. Funding is also open to anybody who wishes to undertake research as a whole and there is discretionary funding for the unemployed within the sector.

Our main focus is on assisting vulnerable adults by facilitating means that will enable them integrate in the communities. The foundation provides housing and educational support, information, advice, training and advocacy on dealing with the ongoing effects of homelessness and unemployment issues, food provision when required. The charity also supports African Orphanage homes where necessary.

The presentation of lectures to the public, organisation of conferences and day schools, organisation of field trips and study tours, making grants to individuals, annual publication of the Proceedings of the Prehistoric Society, publication of a newsletter three times a year and making representations to government and other organisations about the protection of prehistoric sites.

We manage the village hall in Ilsington for many regular as well as occasional users. An extension was built on to the village hall and this now houses the community shop. We also now have a meeting room as well as the hall.

Flashy Wings Ministry therefore aims to prevent women on estates in Southwark from becoming socially excluded whist promoting togetherness and diversity and community spirit on Southwark estates. We have achieved these by running conferences (and providing an on-line information centre) for women (on issues such as team working, problem solving, negotiation skills, assertiveness and advocacy.
