It makes grants of clothing, equipment, and gifts of any kind whatsoever or otherwise to or for the benefit of such persons by arranging for them to be visited wherever they may be, and by arranging transport, trips or holidays for them.

THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY ANY MEANS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, INCLUDING THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS.

Rental of studio space to local artists.Rental of space for a coffee shop.Rental of space for groups or individuals for the purpose of running art courses/events/groups/ exhibitions, and to local community groups.Organisation of music, art and community events.

The society serves those interested in the history and technique of British Theatre by arranging public lectures, by publishing books and a thrice-yearly journal ('Theatre Notebook') and by awarding research grants to individuals and institutions. It awards an annual theatre book prize and stages the Poel Event, an annual workshop promoting good stage speech, most recently at the National Theatre.

The Charity's objects are restricted specifically to the promotion, encouragement, maintenance, improvement and advancement of education of the public in the life and works of William Blake (1757-1827) and to equipping and maintaining his surviving homes, in particular the property located at 1 Blake's Road, Felpham, Bognor Regis, PO22 7EB, as a focal point for the study and appreciation thereof.

ADVOCACY AND GENERAL INFORMATION

eavesdropping is an artist-run organisation dedicated to the sharing of new music and new ways of thinking about music. Activity includes a festival, a podcast and artist development opportunities. Our charitable objects are the advancement of the performing arts, specifically music, for the public benefit, and the advancement of the education of the public in general in the subject of music.

We provide a confidential and free signposting helpline to all those in Hertfordshire affected by Domestic Abuse, including those being abused, perpetrators who indicate they wish to address their behaviour and professionals who deal with those affected.

To restore, preserve and operate railway locomotives, carriages, wagons, vehicles & other artefacts of historical interest and the structures connected therewith for the benefit and education of the public; to conserve books, drawings, records, documents, sound & visual recordings, cinematography films and photographs and other archives relating to such objects, their history and their development

To relieve the suffering of unwanted, abandoned, mistreated and injured animals and to promote human behaviour towards animals and education of the public in relation to animal welfare.

Through personal contact and a news letter the Advocacy supports patients with neuroacanthocytosis and their families around the world. We are also an important initiator and financial supporter of education including research into the clinical and basic science of these neurodegenerative diseases.
