IMAPS-UK supports the personal networking and training needs of engineers, scientists and students in the UK microelectronics industry. It has a policy of collaboration and co-operation with like technical institutions and holds technical events throughout the year for the benefit of its members and the general public.

FoR was founded in 1914 as a body of people who accepted that Christian faith is incompatible with participation in war. FoR supports and affirms those with a commitment to peace and non-violence and undertakes education and campaigning on issues of conflict and peace and on behalf of the victims of war and injustice.

TO MAKE GRANTS TO MAINTAINED SCHOOLS WITHIN THE CITY OF EXETER FOR SPECIALISED EQUIPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FACILITIES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL AUTHORITY AND TO GIVE GRANTS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES TO INDIVIDUALS UNDER 25 WHO ATTEND HAVE ATTENDED A MAINTAINED SCHOOL IN EXETER OR EXETER COLLEGE.

1. To advance public education and training in the field of medicine by supporting medical professionals through training, workshops, seminars and personal engagement. 2. Provision of scholarships to help doctors, nurses and paramedics from all parts of India to come to the United Kingdom for training/attachment.

This charity makes grants for education (fairly widely defined) to individuals under 25 whose homes are within 5 miles of Norwich City Hall whose parents are not able to afford the expense involved, examples vary from playgroup fees to second degrees and include school uniform, trips, music dance and gym tuition. Funds are limited! Grants may be made to schools etc. within the area.

The giving of grants and donations to individuals and institutions - maintaining an Evangelical Christian ethos and providing funding for the advancement of education, the preservation of child life, the relief of child distress, the advancement of religion and the relief and redemption of prisoners and captives.Grants will only be given to organisations, not to individuals.

Making grants to charitable associations, trusts, societies and corporations whether they are local or national. The major part of the available funds tend to be distributed locally to charitable institutions which the trustees consider to be particularly worthy of support.

The charity operates in Sheffield and acts in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of the Scout movement providing support, coordination, training and District activities for Scouting groups that form part of the Don District within the South Yorkshire County of the Scout movement within the UK.

The Trustees offer grants to young people under 25 living within a 20 mile radius of Sheffield city centre, who have, in the opinion of the Trustees, demonstrated need. The NABD provide financial grants to help with the cost of adaptations to motorcycles, scooters, trikes, sidecar outfits & quadbikes to suit the needs of people with disabilities. We also provide advice and advocacy on a range of issues relating to motorcycling for people with disabilities. We also provide rider assessments & adapted 125cc motorcycles (on load) for CBT courses, training & tests.

The Margaret de Sousa Deiro Fund is a UK charity which awards grants to women in financial need living in the UK and suffering from any illness with the priority on respiratory conditions.

The BDA GET exists to advance education and other purposes related to the science of dietetics. The Trust can make grants to individuals and to recognised associations or groups of people engaged in dietetic research and associated activities.
