Derman provide holistic health and social care services such as Bilingual Health Advocacy, Counselling/Psychological Therapies, Mental Health Recovery Support and Welfare Rights Advice for the Kurdish, Turkish and Turkish Cypriot communities to greatly improve the quality of life and to promote the continued wellbeing of people within these communities.

The Carers Centre for Brighton & Hove takes a holistic approach to all its work, considering the needs of carers, and those they care for. Core activities include information and advice giving, advocacy work, emotional support, one to one casework, support groups and activities for both adult carers and young carers.

Provide advice on scientific matters to the media, policymakers, the general public and others.Produce educational materials on scientific issues for the public as well as medical professionals and others.Respond to misleading or false information by providing the public with relevant scientific evidence.Promote the importance of independent scientific advice for public policy.

Herefordshire Community Foundation is a local, independent grant making organisation. It develops local philanthropic giving in order to support local activities and also adminsters a variety of different charitable funds. Grants can be given to local charities or community groups and cover all ages and many different activities. The organisation normally works within the county boundaries.

Supporting research, making grants

The principal activity of the company was that of a charity, with particular reference to the establishment and continued support of Jewish schools.To achieve the objects, the charity uses its income to make charitable donations and grants to Jewish schools, other educational organisations and other charities.

Legal advice and information service to people held in immigration detention

Provides specialist, independent and confidential support services to women and girls whose lives have been affected by sexual violence of any kind at any time. Currently offers freephone telephone helpline, helpline support via text and e-mail and face-to-face emotional support, Also raises awareness and understanding of sexual violence through the delivery of talks, workshops etc.

The Trustees meet quarterly to consider grant requests made by shop and supporting office colleagues. Funds are directed towards a wide range of causes with the overriding requirement being that the causes supported should serve the community in which the shops and businesses of Ladbrokes Coral Group Plc operate. To advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment, in particular the conservation and protection of rare and endangered species, and to promote human behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for animals and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare.

We aim to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of Christian based charities in the furtherance of their objects or any one of them, by the provision of information, advice, support and infrastructure provision and also the relief of financial hardship, either generally or individually through the provision of grants, goods or services.

The Charity was formed in October 2008, its funds were invested to generate income to fund the payment of donations and grants. The trustees review requests for funds from the UK and overseas, and make grants as they judge appropriate. The Trustees have established a Grant Making Policy, and procedures and guidelines for grant applications are in place.

To relieve the effects of mental health problems, disadvantage and disengagement amongst those people living in West Wales and those areas of Wales commissioning advocacy in partnership with commissioners in West Wales , through the provision of a comprehensive independent advocacy service.

Equally Ours main activities are: building voluntary sector capacity to advance equality and human rights through a website, e-newsletter and monthly member meetings; informing policy and practice through research, reports, events, guidance, policy briefings and building greater public consensus about the value of equality and human rights

The purpose of the charity is to advance such charitable purposes as the charity trustees see fit from time to time by making grants to organisations and individuals.
