The charity is engaged in the promotion of kindness and prevention of cruelty to animals by actively seeking convictions against offenders committing cruelty to animals. In addition the charity seeks to re home as many homeless animals as possible within the Mid Lincolnshire area. The charity is also committed to a non destruct policy.

To provide free, impartial and confidential advice and information to all members of the local community in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead and the surrounding areas. To advance knowledge and information for the protection and preservation of health, and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress.

The relief of sickness in those who have become or likely to become malnourished & who are unable to consume or absorb food in sufficient quantities to effect recovery. Advancement of education of health workers, patients, policy makers & general public in the importance of & methods for prevention & treatment of malnutrition in illness. Promotion of research into all aspects of clinical nutrition

The clerk to the trustees is the initial contact for local bodies and organisations seeking grants. These applications are screened to ensure that the applications meet the objectives of the Charity. The trustees meet regularly to consider the applications and to make grants in appropriate circumstances.

The Pickwell Foundation is a grant making Trust which focuses on supporting charities working in the following 2 areas:1) Those working with people who have been displaced2) Those working in the area of 'climate change'The foundation has a mix of grants to local charities based in the South-West of England, those working nationally and those working internationally.

The charity brings together the world's major oceanographic institutes to plan joint actions to advance sustained ocean observations for societal benefit. It provides professional training opportunities for early-career scientists to develop the worldwide capacity for sustained ocean observations, and advocates at public and policy levels for the need for sustained funding for the observing system

Chapeltown CAB has a central role in tackling injustice, reducing poverty and social exclusion, and enabling people to realise their full potential. Our advice services provide the impetus for local people to understand and realise their rights. By pressing for change in social policy we help many more.

PATT Foundation currently works to campaign for better environmental practices, take action against climate change, implement small to medium tree planting projects as well as set up tree nurseries, provide environmental education. The charity also supports veterans welfare via nature based therapy courses and engagement on nature based tasks to support post traumatic growth.

Our charity is a County Scout Council which operates in the County of Durham and the local authority areas of Gateshead, South Tyneside, Sunderland and Darlington. We are responsible for the governance, delivery and support of Scouting in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of the Scout Association and we operate and manage an adventurous activity centre outside of Durham.

Provision of Transport to enable clients to visit our "pop in" centre - provision of snacks, meals, bathing,choropody and Advocacy Services

The charity provides free advice to the general public on a range of issues, including debt and money, benefit and tax credits, housing, family issues and consumer advice. Largely, those benefiting from our services are those most in need, particularly those in financial hardship.

The Clore Duffield Foundation is a grant making organisation which concentrates its support on education, the arts, museum and gallery education, cultural leadership training, health and social care and enhancing Jewish life whilst placing a particular emphasis on supporting children, young people and society's more vulnerable individuals.

To promote advanced study and research in the humanities and modern languages through the publication of journals and books, the encouragement of postgraduate research, and the provision of grants through funding schemes for conference organisation, research fellowships and postdoctoral support. Postgraduates are given free membership of the Association.

Makes grants to institutions promoting the Orthodox Jewish Faith and running youth programs

To provide an immediate and sustained response to poverty and need in the local community and to support the ongoing wellbeing of those we encounter. main activities include a foodbank, a welfare benefit advice service, a counselling service, housing advice and support and a nurse led health advice and advocacy service.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ORTHODOX JEWISH RELIGION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO SYNAGOGUES AND OTHER RELIGIOUS CHARITIES FOR THE PROVISION OF RELIGIOUS OBJECTS, PRAYER BOOKS AND OTHER RELIGIOUS STUDY BOOKS, AND FOR THE PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS. THE ADVANCEMENT OF ORTHODOX JEWISH EDUCATION AND EDUCATION IN GENERAL BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND IN

The relief of persons who are ill, disabled, incapacitated or elderly by the provision of information, education, support, respite care, recreation and advocacy for their Carers

The Charity owns land at Charterhouse Square and leases the majority of this at a peppercorn rent to Queen Mary and Westfield College ("the College") for the benefit of the Medical College of St Bartholomew's Hospital ("the School"), in furtherance of the Charity's objects. The Charity also makes grants to the College for the specific purposes of the School.

sampad exists to develop a deep and distinctive structure of South Asian arts in Birmingham and Britain through production, promotion, advocacy, education and outreach activity. sampad aims to be inclusive in all its practices and will be as concerned with the pursuit of excellence as it will be with widening access.

Hammersmith and Fulham Law Centre has worked on the front line of advice needs for 39 years. We have legal aid contracts in housing, welfare benefits, immigration & asylum and prioritise helping those who are most vulnerable and disadvantaged. We give free legal advice and support on a range of housing issues to people in H&F and run the duty possession desk 2 days a week at our local County Court

We promote & protect the physical & mental health of women who have experienced Postpartum Psychosis & their families, through the provision of peer support & information. We work to advance the education of the public, & particularly health professionals, & promote research; publishing the useful results. We advocate for perinatal mental health services for women & their families.

The schools ethos is to cater for as many children from as wide a social background as is possible. The relatively low fee structure reflects this. The school has no selective entry policy. The school supports some children who could not otherwise afford full fees. The school supports the local community by allowing groups eg church groups - use of the hall.
