A day centre for Homeless people in Salford. We provide shower and laundry facilities, advocacy, dental service, doctor's surgery and tv lounge. Clients can enjoy a hot meal from our cafe area and can relax or play pool in the TV lounge area. We also engage clients in activities e.g. arts and crafts, bingo, reading, street soccer and put on training courses for clients from time to time.

THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR IN THE SUBJECTS OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY, HUMAN RIGHTS, RACIAL AND CULTURAL HARMONY, CITIZENSHIP AND SOCIAL INCLUSION.

Grants made primarily to nationally recognised charities. The Trust Deed specifically prohibits grants to individuals.

REACH assists clients in financial crisis, focusing on solutions for debt and hardship through a relational handholding approach. Food parcels deliver immediate crisis relief. Long-term interventions include debt advice, benefits assistance, housing aid, essential items. Our prevention work involves post intervention 1-2-1 wellbeing guidance, money management classes in schools, advocacy & policy.

Making Grants to Individuals and Charities

The charity makes grants in accordance with its objects, which are:a The relief of the aged who are in need of care and attention because of the disabilities of old age.b The relief of poverty of persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. c The advancement of religion according to the tenets of the Islamic faith.

Run by local people for local people the organisation is truly resident-led and helps tackle social exclusion issues across local neighbourhoods, helping to relieve poverty, ill health and disadvantage through advocacy, education, personal development, volunteering, self help initiatives, active community projects, partnership working and community organising, and operate from four venues.

The charity?s objects are to promote any charitable purpose for the public benefit by the advancement of education, the protection andpreservation of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress in particular, but without limitation, for the benefit of the community in the administrative districts of South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse, and surrounding areas

The Trustees' grant making policy is to apply capital and income to named charities in accordance with the terms of the settlement deed.

To maintain and improve standards of professional midwifery the Trust conducts and commissions research, publishes information, provides education and training and organises conferences, campaigns and other events. Through its benevolent fund the Trust makes grants to midwives and others who need financial help.

Stay Safe East is a user-led organisation providing advocacy and support to Deaf and disabled victims or survivors of hate crime and harassment, domestic and sexual violence, carer abuse and other human rights abuses in East London and across London. We work for change across London and nationally to ensure that disabled people get equal access to justice. We provide training and consultancy.

Llanelli Mind has provided services since 1986 to local people. We are affiliated to Mind nationally. We deliver services locally and more widely across Carmarthenshire, providing advice, and therapeutic services to people experiencing poor mental health & wellbeing, Carers & families. We campaign and influence the provision of mental health and social care services locally and nationally.

Spires is a center for homeless and disadvantaged people. We aim to provide options that allow service users to gain stability in their lives. Services include a rough sleeper's space, showers, clothing, food, women's group, drug and alcohol work, adult learning, mental health support, optician, nurse, dentist, chiropodist, resettlement, tenancy support, outreach, advocacy and emotional support.

For the benefit of the public, to relieve the suffering of seals and seal pups in need of care and attention. To provide care and treatment to all local wildlife until such time as they can be safely released into the wild. To raise awareness and educate the public as to the seals natural environment and welfare needs. The main sources of income come from the shop in Mablethorpe and donations.

The Charity was established to advance the education of the public by promoting and developing the artistic taste, knowledge, understanding and appreciation of contemporary music.

We support the people of Cornwall who are struggling with mental health difficulties. We offer a range of well-being activities to encourage those people with mental health difficulties to become more involved in their local communities. The activities range from yoga, physical activity, community cafes, advice and guidance.
