PROMOTES PERFORMANCE & PUBLICATION OF SAYERS WORKS; MAINTAINS AN ARCHIVE FOR INFORMATION AND EDUCATION; COLLABORATES WITH DOROTHY L SAYERS CENTRE IN WITHAM AND WADE CENTER, WHEATON USA; AWARDS GRANTS TO YOUNG MUSICIAN, BELLRINGER, ACTOR, ROH APPRENTICE, AND RELEVANT OTHERS AS THEY ARISE. MEETINGS HELD IN UK, IN PERSON & BY ZOOM, SOMETIMES ALSO IN USA & EUROPE.

Provision of grants to individuals and organisations

(1) the promotion of any charitable purpose for the relief and settlement of members of the Ha Ka dialect speaking Chinese community in the United Kingdom and particularly those members of the community who are infirmed and poor; and (2) the advancement of the education of the public in their unique history, literature, customs and traditions of the Ha Ka speaking Chinese community.

Lukes Lane Community Association is open seven days a week and provides a wide range of activities including, Education / Training, Sport / recreation activities,In Addition, we also provide opportunities for Children / Young people and the General public which include advocacy / advice and information services for the community.

The promotion, development and maintenance of public education in, and the appreciation of the art and science of orchestral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and by such other ways as the Orchestra, through its Committee, shall determine from time to time.

The charity gives grants to other charities or voluntary organisations to help to relieve the effects of poverty and homelessness. We do not give grants to individuals.

MAKE GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS and ACTIVITIES CLOSELY IN SYMPATHY OR RUN BY THE RELIGIOUS SOCIETY OF FRIENDS (QUAKERS), PARTICULARLY THOSE WHICH BENEFIT PEOPLE WHO BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL/ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE A NEED OF EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND WHERE THERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND DEVELOP MENTAL PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES

To advance public education in 17th Century and lifestyle by presenting re-enactments in 17th Century style buildings @ Little Woodham, Grange Farm, Barrington Close Howe Road Gosport, Hants P.O.13 8NZ.. Also and in respect of other periods and venues as decided by the Gosport Living History Society.

The Charity makes loans and grants to Congregational Churches in the NW England and any other good causes who may apply to the charity for the advancement of the Christian Faith in partnership with those Churches

Make grants to specific church linked organisations inc school, charities etc for general charitable purposes

Provides grants for amenities to housing schemes belonging to English Churches Housing Group or for Baptist ministers or missionaries and their widows or widowers living in residential accommodation provided by a charitable organisation connected with the Baptist Union of Great Britain or with BMS World Mission

Fostering competition and fellowship within the rural community of the parishes bounding the course of the River Manifold through an annual show. Awarding a bursary to students from the area. Making grants to other charities serving the area.

The Misselbrook Trust is a grant making charity which relies solely on funds invested for it's income. Grants for general use and for the benefit of individuals are made to charities and organisations, particularly those having a material affect within Hampshire.

MANAGE AND LET LANDS UNDER ITS JURISDICTION TO ENABLE GRANTS TO BE MADE TO ANY CHARITY FOR THE RELIEF OF POOR PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE ANCIENT PARISH OF HEXHAM (AS CONSTITUTED IN 1855), RELIEF OF PEOPLE IN NEED AND FOR ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING FOR PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 RESIDENT IN THE PARISHES OF HUMSHAUGH AND SIMONBURN OR ANY OTHER CHARITABLE OBJECT

The preservation repair maintenance improvement upkeep and reconstruction of Churches in the County of Cambridge and or monuments fittings fixtures stained glass furniture ornamments and chattels in such Churches. The Trust's predominant activity is the award of loans and grants to churches to assist with the cost of works falling within the foregoing description.

The presentation of public concerts, recitals, masterclasses and otherwise to promote public education in, enjoyment and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects.

The education of the public by promotion, support, assistance and improvement of the Fleet Air Arm Museum through the activities of a group of Members.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by:a) providing opportunities for members of the Medway and local communities to enjoy choral music through participation and involvementb) the performance of public concerts and recitals and by such other means as the Society through its Committee shall determine

TO PROVIDE MONETARY GRANTS TO PEOPLE LIVING WITHIN THE ANCIENT PARISH OF HORLEY WHO ARE FACING POVERTY AS A RESULT OF THEIR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES AND TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO SUPPORT CHARITIES AND COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS HAVING SIMILAR OBJECTS TO THOSE OF THE HENRY SMITH HORLEY CHARITY AND WORKING WITHIN THE ANCIENT PARISH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.Revised 27 August 2024

We provide a safe environment where young people can develop to the best of their own potential, under the guidance of adults who have been approved by the Scout Association and work within the Association's rules and policies. A strict child protection policy exists. All leaders have received a CRB check.Our motto is Do your best.

The activities of the Charity are detailed in the review of activities and achievements in page 2 of the Financial Statements, and include Christian ministries and the relief of poverty. It only makes grants to persons known to the Trustees, and does not make unsolicited grants.

The federation, through its blind and partially sighted membership, seeks to promote a better quality of life for all visually impaired people through local activities at branch level and nationally through campaigning.

Lilford District Scout Council operates within the Policy, Organisation and Rules of the Scout Association. It encompasses 11 Scout Groups and 5 ESUs within the District covering Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer and Network scouts. Total head count for the District is 745 including 622 young people (age range 5-18) and 123 leaders and helpers including District Administration.

The objects of the Charity shall be to provide, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of choral music in all its aspects and by any means the Trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public events.
