To advance the education of the public in the subject of engineering.

THE PROVISION OF FREE, CONFIDENTIAL, INDEPENDENT AND IMPARTIAL ADVICE, INFORMATION AND COUNSEL FOR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC. ADVISORY SERVICES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH FACE-TO-FACE CONSULTATIONS, BY TELEPHONE, BY CORRESPONDENCE, AND VIA ELECTRONIC MEDIA.

The Sir Bernard and Lady Schreier Foundation is an independent grant making charity, set up in 2020, using a bequest left by the late Sir Bernard and Lady Schreier. The Foundation delivers its vision primarily by making grants to other UK registered charities, that provide relief to those affected by ill health, especially those affected by mental illness.

The policy of the trustees is to donate only to local charities or charities of which the trustees have close personal knowledge, interest or association of particularly those involving young people. Donations are not made to individuals (unless they are part of a group or organisation with charitable status) or local authorities.

Making grants to charitable organisations selected in accordance with the company's objects.

The over-riding aim is to 'promote and foster' the game of rugby within the Naval Service by: Promoting the physical efficiency of members of the Naval Service by providing facilities and other encouragement to participate in the game of rugby football; Making grants for charitable purposes; Promoting amateur sport.

The objectives of trust are to support charitable institutions and objectives at the Trustees discretion.

The promotion of the arts. The advancement of public education in the appreciation, production and practice of the arts, and the relief of poor artists, providing workspace, studio facilities and artistic advice.

We work with various communities in South East London and assist them to be economically independent through entrepreneurial and business development schemes and training programmes. At the same time, we also provide free legal advice and representation to individuals that we consider to be indigent and/or incapable of navigating the complex legal process that they are often faced with.

The Dyslexia Association provides a wide range of specialist services and support for people of all ages with dyslexia, their families, educators, employers and the wider community, including:-Helpline, information, advice, guidance, dyslexia awareness, dyslexia screening, dyslexia assessment, one to one tuition, workplace assessment & support, personal development courses, training etc.

PROPS North East provides care and support for the Families and Carers of Substance Misusers within North Tyneside and the City of Newcastle upon Tyne. The support provided includes: Complimentary Therapies; Advocacy; Group and One to One Support; Respite Care; Councelling; Training, and Respite in our own caravan

The objects of the Teaching Staff Trust are the relief of need of those who are employed or have been employed (for more than five years) in the education of pupils under the age of 19 in the United Kingdom, by the provision of grants, advice and other assistance.We also undertake and support research into matters relevant to the needs of beneficiaries.

The charityÔÇÖs objects are to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community in Surrey Heath, by the advancement of education, the protection and preservation of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress.

We run a free Community Cafe, social nights with meals and guest speakers. Relieve of poverty through charity shop and food bank. We also provide educational support for all age groups. Health Advice center to help raise awareness of various health issues. We advance the work of missions, support missionaries and advance Christian education

Museum of Homelessness has been created by people with direct experience of homelessness to educate on homelessness and make social change. The museum is building the national collection for homelessness and carries out independent research and campaigning to fight injustice. The museum provides direct, practical support to people experiencing homelessness addiction and poverty.

The relief of poverty sickness and distress, the advancement of education, and the promotion of any other charitable purpose by the provision of such grants to charitable institutions and individuals.

Grant making

Provision and maintenance of almshouse housing accommodation for beneficiaries and of any Chapel attached thereto: Such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents (generally or individually) as charity trustees decide: Relief of beneficiaries (generally or individually) by making grants of money or providing or paying for item and services calculated to relieve the needs of such persons.

The trust supports the preservation of churches or chapels of any christian denomination in Norfolk or the dioceses of Norwich. The trust makes grants to parishes and congregations to repair restore and preserve christian churches and chapels.

Individual patients' grants for in-patient treatment when NHS lists are excessively long and quality of life is seriously affected. One-off grants to other local, worthy causes.

The relief of financial hardship by the provision of free legal advice, representation and assistance toasylum seekers, migrants and refugees who, through lack of means, would otherwise be unable to obtain such advice.

Our service provides free, independent, confidential, impartial advice and advocacy services to everyone within our community and surrounding areas both on general and specialist subjects.We are also able to use our national presence in order to lobby governments and local authorities on trends and concerns expressed or identified.

A grant making Trust wholly funded by Boots UK Ltd. The Trust funds charities and voluntary organisations working in the areas of health, lifelong learning, community development and social care.Currently the Trust focuses its giving in the county of Nottinghamshire.
