The Bennelong Foundation (UK) has a policy of giving grants to a wide variety of charitable institutions or organizations that benefit society including those engaged in opening pathways to social inclusion for new arrivals to the UK facing hardship, and families facing barriers to accessing food and education.

THE SOCIETY PROMOTES THE SCHOLARLY STUDY OF ALL ASPECTS OF THE HISTORY OF THE CHEMICAL SCIENCES (INCLUDING ALCHEMY). The Global China Academy (GCA) is the only worldwide fellowship dedicated to Chinese-related studies. Led by its GCA fellows, it operates independently, publishing uncensored works on China through Global Century Press. The Academy provides a high-end platform for Global China Dialogue forums on global governance in all its aspects and also hosts occasional seminars.

The charity publishes and distributes worldwide the monthly magazine ' Glad Tidings of the Kingdom of God'.

The British Council Benevolent Fund's charitable purpose is the alleviation of financial hardship for British Council employees, both past and present, and their families, globally. The overriding criterion for assistance being immediate need and financial difficulty for example as a result of illness, bereavement, natural disaster such as earthquakes/floods or in areas of conflict.

Spaniels4Life raises awareness of the large number of spaniels that find themselves in rescue every day, but also promotes the good work being done to help them by associated registered rescue charities in UK, USA, Australia and South Africa. The primary purpose is to raise vital funds online for these beneficiaries and give the raised funds as grants to them throughout the year.

The society enables the exchange of information on deep-sea biology through its membership program, digital communication platforms and the organisation and sponsorship of scientific meetings. We issue grants such as travel and career development awards. We give annual and triennial prizes recognising excellence in research. We conduct a mentoring program connecting senior and junior researchers.

The IAFSS encourages research into, and the application of, science and engineering to prevent and mitigate the adverse effects of fires and provides a forum for sharing and disseminating this knowledge. IAFSS offers valuable resources to members, including free access to our official journal, Fire Safety Journal, and to past symposium proceedings.
