We support poor children and orphans, widows, victims of natural disasters like earth quakes, floods, etc. through relief organisations carrying out relief work in affected areas. The GNDR's activities centre around the collaborative action in support of implementing the Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) including the Views from the Frontline (VFL) initiative which produces reports of progress. The HFA was adopted in 2005 at the World Conference on Disaster Reduction held in Hyogo, Japan, to substantially reduce the loss of lives and livelihoods caused by disasters.
