Green Shoes Arts delivers high quality arts projects for the community of Barking & Dagenham, enabling people of all ages and backgrounds to access and engage with creative and artistic activities. Our primary aim is to benefit the physical and mental well-being of our participants. We believe that artistic and creative activity provides huge benefits to wellbeing and personal development.

The principal purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian Faith according to the principles of the Baptist Denomination. The Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and/or other parts of the world.

General activities include but not necessarily restricted to:religious activities, charitable activities in respect of relieving poverty, imparting knowledge & education, social cohesion etc

Islamic cultural centre.

We are based in Southend and our services were formed in Southend on Sea with funding from Southend Borough Council. The aim of Friends and Places Together is to seek friendships for isolated and vulnerable people within our community. Primarily we offer support to young people from 13 to 25 years old but we have had many requests to support all people that are isolated.

St Peter's Mar Thoma church is fully committed to serving the spiritual needs of the Malayalee Christians residing in the East of London & England, and where possible, promote Christian harmony and fellowship in the local community. The church plays an important role in passing our faith, traditions, culture and beliefs to our future generation.

The Charity is a Methodist Church which congregates for Christian Worship and provides ministry to the community

The objects of the charity are "by such means as are charitable" to promote the Greek Orthodox faith to advance public education to relieve poverty sickness and distress and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of the London Borough of Newham and its environs.

RCCG The Chapel of Courage is a Christian faith charity operating in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and the London Borough of Havering . The principal activity continues to be the advancement of Christian faith worldwide in accordance with the doctrine set out in the statement of faith, and the relief of poverty, starting from our community.

To advance the education for the public benefit by teaching the French language and French culture, heritage and history to children in East and North London and to adults through the provision of after school, weekend and holiday classes and through organising events open to the general public as the trustees shall determine.

To promote the participation and access of disabled young people aged 11 to 25 within the local community. We offer a friendly and fun environment where young people can practise life skills and develop independence. Our programme includes youth sessions, community trips, and residentials, all of which enable young people to build independence, skills, and confidence.

To advance the education of the public in the tradition of the Hindu religion, including yoga, the Hindi language and Hindu festivalsThe aadvancement of the Hindu religion by the establishment, support and opreration of a Hindu Temple.The provision community centre , with the services of Senior Citizens, language classes family get together

Religious Activities

The Charity is involved in enhancement of social activities for members of the Coptic Orthodox Community meeting in Church and enjoyment of religious occasions during Sunday Mass, Christmas and Easter.

Our charity is training the youths to take up challenges which will be of help immensely in their future roles. We as a charity are providing care for the needy and help other charitable organisations in terms of financial support.

St Marks Church Centre is a new development (Church dedicated 21 02 2016) As well as providing spiritual and pastoral support,we also offer activities for all ages including information advice to the whole of the Marks Gate and neighbouring areas. Activities include healthy living programs including St Marks Community Cafe. The aim is to empower individuals and create stronger community cohesion

Provides development Football for youth across East Anglia as well as coaching in the community,

To enable women to improve and develop conditions of rural life, advance their education in citizenship, in public questions both national and international, in music, drama and other cultural subjects, in all branches of agriculture, home economics, health and social welfare. It gives women the opportunity of working together and putting into those ideals for which is stands.

The Ford Britain Trust makes donations to undertakings concerned with the advancement of education and other charitable purposes beneficial to the community. Preference is given to organisations located in and working in areas where Ford Motor Company Limited has its present activities and a long standing association with local communities in the UK.

Wisdom House act as an umbrella organisation for WISDOM COMMUNITY CENTRE and WHCWisdom Community Centre is a community resource centre offering diverse services for individuals and families. Services includes: free, holistic, counselling and advisory services to victims of domestic violence, individuals in crisis, youth mentoring, debt management workshops, and family conflict resolution
