WEAVERS COMMUNITY FORUM IS A GRASSROOTS YOUTH AND COMMUNITY ORGANISATION CONDUCTING ACTIVITIES IN THE EAST OF LONDON. IT OFFERS A WIDE RANGE OF SERVICES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. THESE CAN BE GROUPED INTO THE FOLLOWING THEMES: EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT: HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES: COMMUNITY EVENTS: AND GENERIC YOUTH CLUB ACTIVITIES.

The WWC provides advice, information, advocacy to African Portuguese Speaking refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. It services are provided in different subjects such as; immigration, housing, welfare benefits, community care, debt/money, education, employment and training, interpreting and translation services. It also carries out home visits.

We provide a number of activities to help build our local community. Social inclusion is key to our work in our efforts to build social cohesion. We work with families, youth , elderly the unemployed, the homeless individuals refugees and the BAME communities to effect changes in their situation. We work through one to one sessions and group session to ensure change is on going.

HOLDING CHRISTIAN SERVICES IN THE COMMUNITY TO PROMOTE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH.

Providing a suitable atmosphere where Christian principles can be taught and developed within our community. The principal activities of the church include Christian worship, Christian outreach programmes to increase Christian awareness and to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and the development of the whole man, spiritually, mentally and physically

The main activities in relation to the objects are:~ Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.~ To advance education in accordance with Christian principles.~ Poverty Alleviation locally and overseas

Medical missionary and mission trips. Set-up and equip orphanages.Construct water bore-holes for communities which lack clean water. Setting up and equipping basic health clinics for communities.Giving to meet individual's dire needs. Providing teaching sessions. And other means by which God shall enable us.

Support, deployment and training of Christian ministers and workers, and the provision of other resources for Christian ministry, particularly in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham

Organisation of various seminars and leadership training. Provison of welfare support to members. Support other charities and Christian events.Engaging Young People in meaningful Christians and secular activities

The object of the trust shall be to help the local community of Dagenham and thesurrounding areas:1. for the advancement of the religion of Islam in accordance with the tenetsand doctrines of the Hanafi Sunni Sect of Islam;2. to advance the Islamic religion in Dagenham and surrounding areas for thebenefit of the public, through the holding of prayer meetings.

The Barking & Dagenham Progress Project aims to develop services, strategy and joined up ways of working with disabled children & young people to effect good practice, promote the ethos of inclusivity and by being user led within a theme of 'participation'. This is achieved through a combination of project delivery and developing collaborative work within a partneship / consortium approach.
