The Barnet Asian Old Peoples Association provides a welcoming day centre facility for the recreation, leisure and social welfare of the elderly in the Asian community.There are a number of members with varying disabilities are catered for. On average 260 members per week attend the day centre facilities.

Reviewing planning applications and making recommendations to the Borough of Barnet. Monitoring the local environment - trees, plants, open spaces, wildlife against damage and encroachment. Informing local schools on conservation and the environment. Informative talks to members. Maintaining society and local history archives.

School fairs, fundriaisng activities, social (non-profit making) events for year group and parents and carers. Support at school events.

We are an amateur choir drawing our membership from North East London, South West Essex, and South East Hertfordshire. We train singers at our weekly practices in Waltham Abbey and give monthly concerts: for private groups in Care Homes and Clubs, and for the general public in Churches, Halls etc. The latter are usually treated as fundraising events by the sponsoring organization.

Production and programming of Christian television programmes on Holy God TV Ministries and use their testimonies and feedback to improve our programmes and serve their needs. We hold prayer services regularly as and when members of the congregation request. The charity assists Yeshivat Ofakim a religious educational establishment in Israel.

The principal objectives of the charity throughout the period has been:1) The advancement of the orthodox Jewish faith;2) The relief of poverty, sickness and infirmity amongst members of the Jewish faith and such otherpurposes as are charitable according to English Law; 3) The advancement of Morroccan orthodox Jewrythrough weekly communal prayer services, classes and gatherings

During the period the organisation endeavoured to support such charitable causes that would further the objects of the puposes for which the chairty was set up. Support was given to various causes/charities that assist children's health and education and community centres that help the elderly.

Relief of those in need by the provision of resources.

The PTA supports the parents and student body of Annemount School. The PTA also makes grants to other voluntary organisations with funds it has raised.
