The principal objects of the charity are the promotion and protection of the physical and mental health of cancer sufferers and their carers through the provision of support, education and practical advice throughout South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw.

The object of the trust is to promote and advance theatrical arts within and for the entire community of Barnsley and the surrounding area. The principal activity is that of promoting, maintaining, improving and advancing education particularly by the promotion and production of the arts in Barnsley.

The Wakefield Trinity Community Trust aims to use the power of sport and other physical activities to engage with young people, especially, though not exclusively, those who are disadvantaged or deprived and feed them towards more healthy fulfilling and positive lifestyles.

Saving lives in wild and remote places

continues to provide support and resources for the Methodist Churches of the Barnsley Circuit, ensuring the provisions of worship and facilities / buildings available to the church and the wider community.

To provide grants to charities which fall within the following:-The Arts, Social Mobility, Animal Welfare and Sport.

1) THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PLAYING FOOTBALL AND OTHER SPORTS CAPABLE OF IMPROVING PHYSICAL HEALTH AND FITNESS. 2) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE

The Charity primarily exists to advance the Christian Faith and to promote the relief of aged persons and persons in conditions of need, hardship or distress. The Church provides many services including pastoral care, community events, youthwork, toddler groups and debt advice.

We aim to help and support families in the local area of Cudworth, Shafton, Brierley and Grimethorpe, encourage and support hard to reach learners back into education, training and employment. Partnership aims to develop local initiatives based on meaningful consultation and active involvement and participation of the community of the Cudworth area and West Green of Barnsley.

We assist pets in crisis situations. Our help is primarily focused on helping cats and dogs who are, or who are soon to be homeless. Each pet taken in, will be medically and behaviourally treated to build them up to the best they can be before finding them their new homes.We provide advice, education, assistance and a lifeline to the public in their times of need around their cat or dog.

The objects of the charitable company are to promote equality of opportunity and good relations between people of different racial groups, especially within the area of benefit, particularly through the medium of football and other amateur sports, recreational or leisure-time activities. The organisational activities of the FURD Trust are gradually being migrated across to the charitable company.

Support for mothers and pregnant women and their families who are suffering with post and ante natal depression and anxiety and other perinatal mental illness. This support includes email, telephone and text support and peer support buddying in the South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire area.

Provision of youth work and member activities. Hire of space by other user groups to financially support the work of the Association.

Yorkshire Universities works to maximise the contribution of higher education to the region, and beyond, through collaboration, together and with partners, where this generates greater impact and public benefit. We seek to widen engagement with higher education, for individuals to develop their skills and with private and public sectors to create knowledge through research and innovation.

Pyramid of Arts works to establish inclusive creative communities that engage & empower people regardless of their level of disability or disadvantage. It specialises in arts provision that includes people with learning disabilities, enabling them to work with the wider arts community & professional artists in quality creative projects. Its emphasis is on collaboration & collective achievement.

Maintain and enhance Cooper Art Collection, make it accessible to general public and to encourage and promote art generally in the Barnsley Metropolitan District.

Barnsley Community Build aims and objectives are to support the community in developing skills and knowledge that will assist them in securing full time education or employment.

SAYiT works with LGBT+ & HIV-affected young people up to age of 25 years, supporting them with the challenges they face; empowering them to make their world a better place. We deliver 3 weekly youth groups and one-to-one work. We work in schools & anywhere where young people meet. We run awareness-raising workshops & conferences for professionals, parents/carers & young people.

We provide Chaplaincy and Listening Services for people in workplaces and community situations of all descriptions across South Yorkshire, particularly but not exclusively supporting people through the difficulties of life situations. We also deliver training on various aspects of listening and support to volunteers, charities and other organisations.

The objects of The Eagles Foundation are to advance the education and the physical health and well being ofpeople within South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire by providing opportunities for them toparticipate in a range of activities, in order to develop their educational, social, physical and mental wellbeing.

The Circuit produces a quarterly preaching plan to ensure regular acts of worship take place at the 12 methodist Churches and 2 Local Ecumenical Partnership in its geographical area. These are open to all people without charge.
