The charity seeks to advance the education and well-being of the pupils at Breakspeare School and Meadow Wood School in Hertfordshire. The pupils are 5 to 19 years old and have severe learning difficulties. The charity provides support not offered by the Education Authority, including curriculum enrichment activities, equipment, and support and information to school staff and families.

The trust was set up to distribute funds from the Chelveston Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund to eligible bodies or organisations within the four parishes in which the Wind Farm site lies - Chelveston-cum-Caldecott, Dean & Shelton, Hargrave, and Melchbourne & Yelden

Working to promote and preach the Word Of God to all members of the community. Providing support spiritually, socially and finacially to those members of the community in need. HCR cover cat and kitten rescue. All cats are neutered and microchipped before going to their new homes. A follow-up service for kittens aged 6+ months to encourage neutering is performed.We educate the public, reinforcing the importance of neutering, vaccinating and micro-chipping cats.We also trap, neuter and release feral cats, helping to humanely reduce the number of unwanted cats.

Organisation and management of an annual festival of the arts in three sections, music,dance and speech & drama. The festival offers both competitive and non-competitive classes principally designed to encourage children and young people to perform, thus furthering their interest and education in the arts. In addition the festival may support a gala concert in which selected participants perform.

A Church of England organisation supporting Christian family life throughout the world, with 3.4 million members worldwide, and approx 850 members in the St. Albans Diocese branch.

We are a community choral society. We rehearse choral works composed between 1600 and the present day, mainly of classical repertoire, and perform them to the general public in high quality concerts with professional soloists, instrumentalists and orchestras. We also undertake training sessions and fund-raising activities such as singing at weddings and carol singing.

The study and practice of choral music in order to foster the public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance.To provide a regular series of first class choral concerts by maintaining a chorus, and by engaging orchestras and artists of high repute.

The provision of sporting activities within Bedfordshire for both male, females, adults, juniors, able bodied and disabled people.This currently includes Rugby League and Netball. Netball covers girls aged 8-16 years old and mentoring services for people who are Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET). Wheelchair sports are a growing activity and contact from anyone interested is welcome.

Facilities for paddle-sport and associated water-sports in the Bedford area.Instruction to other paddlers in all levels of paddle-sport and associated water-sports with the purpose of improving standards and personal proficiency.Opportunities to compete in various paddle sport discipline sporting events.Supervision and organisation for social paddling.

The charity supports music activities for young people and adults in Beds and surrounding areas. Following the demise of Bedfordshire Music, we have become responsible for operating the holiday youth music ensemble courses in the former county and advising on policy with the local Music Hubs. Our aim is to provide access to musical opportunities for young musicians appropriate to their abilities.

Propagation of the Christian faith.

We provide a free, confidential voluntary service offering extra care to those living with life limiting illnesses and support to their carers in Leighton Buzzard, Linslade and the district. Our service provides an opportunity for clients to have someone to talk to outside of the family unit, or for their carers to have some respite.

Fitness Without Boundaries is a charity which offers disabled people more choices and opportunities to enjoy the benefits of physical activity and promotes community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Northamptonshire and surrounding areas by providing a community fitness suite and gym equipment.

This 300 year old charity makes grants to young people of secondary school age and normally up to first degree level for expenses arising from education. Some priority is given to needy young people with the family name Kentish. Otherwise, applicants need to be permanently resident in Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire.
