Management of Milbrook Village Hall for the use of Millbrook residents and others in the local community

Our on going project is to raise funds for iPads for the classes and to provide coaches for all the years school trips. We will also be providing coaches for the older children to attend swmming lessons at the local leisure centre.

The object of the charity is to advance the Christian faith in the United Kingdom for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, conferences and seminars, producing and distributing literature on Christianity to educate others about the Christian faith.

The Committee provides and upkeeps the hall and playing field which acts as a centre point for the village. Various clubs - cricket, football, table tennis and bowls are very popular, with youth teams being encouraged. Children are provided with a safe play area with picnic tables.

Silsoe Young Farmers is a youth group run by the members for the members to advance their education in argiculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. Joining in with local village activities to become an active part of the community. Improving mental capacities, self-reliance and individual responsibilities.

The hall is used by many different groups for activities including, childrens parties, whist drives, parish council meetings, other village social events. The new extension has created opportunities for lettings from people inside and outside the village and we have moved forward increasing the number of people hiring the hall for their many different activities.

THE FRIENDS OF ST MARY'S CHURCH STEVINGTON IS A CHARITABLE ORGANISATION ESTABLISHED BY TRUST DEED IN SEPTEMBER 2010 FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING FUNDS FOR THE PRESERVATION AND REPAIR OF THE PARISH CHURCH AND CHURCH ROOM OF STEVINGTON. FUNDS ARE RAISED BY ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION AND BY VARIOUS FUND RAISING EVENTS ORGANISED BY THE COMMITTEE OF TRUSTEES AND INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS AS APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES.

Maulden Village Hall is a typical village hall. Activities include indoor bowls, WI meetings, Art Club, village hall quiz,fund raising events etc.Hosts Post Office service two mornings per week.

The Trust provides and maintains gospel halls for the religious activities of Christians often referred to as "Brethren".
