The Charity operates in the Parishes of Chalgrave and Hockliffe in the County of Bedfordshire. It derives its income from investments and pays grants to young people under the age of 25 years. These grants are for educational purposes.

THE FRIENDS OF ST MARY'S CHURCH STEVINGTON IS A CHARITABLE ORGANISATION ESTABLISHED BY TRUST DEED IN SEPTEMBER 2010 FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING FUNDS FOR THE PRESERVATION AND REPAIR OF THE PARISH CHURCH AND CHURCH ROOM OF STEVINGTON. FUNDS ARE RAISED BY ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION AND BY VARIOUS FUND RAISING EVENTS ORGANISED BY THE COMMITTEE OF TRUSTEES AND INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS AS APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES.

Maulden Village Hall is a typical village hall. Activities include indoor bowls, WI meetings, Art Club, village hall quiz,fund raising events etc.Hosts Post Office service two mornings per week.

To advance the Christian Religion, in particular by assisting with the restoration, improvement and maintenance of the fabric of All Saints' Church, Shillington.

Management of Village Hall

The object of the charity is to cultivate the Dramatic and Operatic Arts and improve and educate the public taste in those arts; to promote the production of Dramatic and Operatic works having educative value in the foregoing and with the further object of raising funds to be devoted solely to charitable purposes.

We rescue stray and feral cats, giving them the vet care they need, then re-homing or re-locating them.

THE PRINCIPLE PURPOSE OF CHARITY IS TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AND IMPACT LIVES THROUGH THE PROPAGATION OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST ACCORDING TO THE HOLY SCRIPTURE. THE LEADERSHIP SHALL ENGAGE IN OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES AS DEEMED NECESSARY FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT BY INTERACTING WITH LOCAL COMMUNITIES; THUS EMPOWERING PEOPLE TO IDENTIFY THEIR POTENTIAL AND LIVE LIVES IN A POSITIVE MANNER.

The charity operates in the rural community developing the members knowledge and experience in various aspects of their life.

The hall is used by many different groups for activities including, childrens parties, whist drives, parish council meetings, other village social events. The new extension has created opportunities for lettings from people inside and outside the village and we have moved forward increasing the number of people hiring the hall for their many different activities.

The Playing Field Management Committee's duties are to safeguard the Trust Property for the benefit of the inhabitants of Marston Moreteyne.
