Melchbourne Village Hall Committee organises a range of social activities for villagers and their friends in nearby villages. Activities include dances, dinners, bbq's, occasional concerts and quizzes. It provides a venue for occasional private parties and church events.

Supporting the children at Northill CE Academy by providing items for use in the classroom and extras like funding coaches for trips and christmas activities.

Supports young people across Bedfordshire to develop as musicians and has enabled: - young people from families with limited income to be able to attend holiday music courses and local music centres - young musicians to participate in master classes - school students to have access to musical events locally and to a supply of musical instruments and printed music.

Provide financial support to the young and elderly residents of Upper and Lower Dean

The objective of the group is to relieve the physical or mental distress of persons with cancer and the partners and carers of such persons through the provision of a support group meeting monthly to provide mutual support, information and access to complementary therapies. A Professional therapist is present at most meetings and some meetings include a visiting speaker.

We provide a non discriminatory service for people of all races and ethnicity within the community, providing a drop-in centre and offering spiritual & social help, general advocacy and advice, offering tea & coffee and second hand clothing. Prison ministry, giving offenders bible studies, help and advise in back into society.Hospital /Hospice visiting the sick and the elderly.

Small fund raising events held within the school for children,parent/carers and school staff to participate in and support. i.e. Quiz night, Annual Summer Fayre etc

We are a school association made up of staff & parents from the school. We run numerous different events during the year for the children & families to raise funds. These funds are used to purchase items etc for the school. Event examples are family discos, summer BBQ, quiz and race nights. Items bought are things such as toys, computer equipment, bibles.
