Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire is the local consumer champion promoting choice and influencing the provision of high quality health, social care and wellbeing services for all across Central Bedfordshire.We engage and consult with all sections of the local population so that a wide cross section of views are heard, understood and acted upon.

Q:Alliance runs youth groups, support groups, provides advice and information, and encourages community activities for the LGBT community and organisations who provide services for them, in Bedford,Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire.

The provision of secure accommodation for persons in difficult circumstances. The provision of a support network for the disabled and elderly residents. The maintenance and provision of the Village Hall for public use.

Pre-School for children ages 2 years 6 months

Provision and maintenance of a Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) to be used by the local community as a place of worship in accordance with the Sikh religion and for conducting religious rituals such as solemnization of births and marriages and for furthering the Sikh faith. Other major activities include teaching Punjabi to small children and providing community welfare facilities.

The Need Project exists to provide compassionate and practical Christian responses to all our neighbours who are experiencing the effects of poverty and hardship. Our responses include the provision of food parcels for as long as required and resources allow, and where possible access to a safe place where our neighbours can come and be supported in finding the help they need in their journey.

To relieve suffering and sickness and to provide facilities for exercise, recreation or leisure time activities with the aim of improving the conditions of life of people living within the borough of Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas who have an established diagnosis of ischemic heart disease and/or cardiopulmonary disease.

During the year the Association has maintained it's place in the local community by encouraging such regular activities as bowls, cricket, junior football, snooker, tea dances, keep fit, carpet bowls and children's activities.

Our main activities are to provide: - 1:1 counselling or psychotherapy for young people. - Assessment & support planning - Carer & parenting support- Ongoing supervision, training for our partners & stakeholders in the wellbeing of young people5) We also run forums in the community around difficult, often marginalised issues affecting young people and their families.

Provision of legal advice, information, advocacy and representation on social welfare law and related matters.

The advancement of the Christian faith.The activities include but are not restricted to:regular public worship, prayer, Bible study, preaching and teaching;baptism of believers by full immersion;welcome, inclusion, nurture and growth of Christian disciples of all ages; giving and encouraging pastoral care;and much more with Jesus Christ as our model and guide.

We support and empower deaf children and young adults from birth up to the age 30, and their families, who are predominantly based in Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas, through the provision of:Recreational and leisure activities; training opportunities; one to one and group support; Deaf Awareness, Sign Language and other courses.

We are an organisation that is generally funded by its own members, of whom wish to invest in the benefits of primarily their own local community and secondly those surrounding and wider, based on the teachings of Jesus. The investing has been for example focused on helping others with genuine need who cannot help themselves, hosting musical events and supporting other local charities.

Project 229 is a pro-active community centre for ages 0 to 99 and beyond with a whole family approach. Project 229, alongside partner organisations, provides opportunities through which people are empowered to counter isolation, build relationships, develop life-skills, be supported/support others, improve resilience, grow in self-esteem and make positive changes.

We are a charity run by one paid co-ordinator and six and volunteers with an overall executive committee. We provide 2 drop in advice surgeries, an English Language Befriending project and an annual Summer outing, a women's social group and other social activitiesWe also provide regular website updates for our contacts and our service users.

Sports Aid eastern has a wide-ranging trust deed within the fields of education, disability and social welfare to:i. further the education of young people through the medium of sportii. encourage those with social and physical disadvantages to improve their lives through sportiii. enable those living in poverty to take advantage of the opportunities offered by sport

Since 1982 the Manna House Trust has sought to serve the community by providing access to professional counselling services, accredited courses to students training to be future counsellors and supervisors, and wellbeing workshops, for everyone in Northamptonshire irrespective of faith background or ability to pay. It has also provided a coffee shop, bookshop and flats for the homeless.

Ickwell Pre-school provides Early Years Care and Education for children aged 2 years upwards until they start school.

We operate a pre-school for children aged from 2 1/2 to school age. We are ofsted inspected. We are managed by a voluntary management committee.

We are a pre school providing care for children in our ward from 2yrs upto 5yrs old, we offer indoor and outdoor provision with fully qualified staff.

The development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential through a structured programme, in accordance with the Scout Associations policy organisation and rules.
