Diggle Community Brass is a traditional brass band for everyone. We help maintain the cultural heritage of Pennine villages. We perform many types of music and encourage new, improving and returning players to join and develop with us. We enjoy and strengthen the social bonds arising from banding and contribute musically and supportively as an active part of our wider community.

The main activities of EHBEA are:1. A yearly conference and 2. Grants awarded towards a) research costs, b) travel costs to attend our conference, and c) scientific workshop costs.These all aim to further scientific dissemination of findings with regard to evolution and human behaviour. All EHBEA-sponsored events, e.g. our annual conference, are open to the public.

Advancement of public understanding of medieval genealogy and prosopography, and the promotion of research into medieval genealogy. Publication of learned articles and books both printed and electronically, and the provision of data sets via our website.

The foundation supports and sponsors a Buckland Professor each year who gives a lecture at three relevant venues in the UK and Ireland on a matter of current importance in the commercial fisheries. It also sponsors a Buckland-Smith summer student each year.

To advance the education of the public, in the history and heritage of Basildon Borough through the collection, preservation of records, material and artefacts of historical significance. The CLCI provides a platform to facilitate discussion and promotion of increased awareness among health professionals, the public, policy makers and politicians, of the effectiveness of immunisation as a public health tool, of the importance of vaccination programmes for citizens of all ages, and of knowledge of issues and barriers around immunisation at all stages of life that need to overcome.

My Body is My Body Programme is an internationally acclaimed body safety program using music to educate and empower adults and children on child abuse prevention. Distributed in 60 plus countries worldwide, it offers a free resource for communities, parents, teachers, and carers. Our mission is to stop child abuse through positive, non threatening education.

Primary activities:1. Publishing journal2. Holding meetings/conferences/discussion groups3. Providing grants and sponsorship for activities in nautical research

The object of the Fund is to provide financial assistance by way of grants to churches incurring expenditure on the provision, maintenance or improvement of their bells and bell installations or for the maintenance of their towers and belfries.
