SkyAngels Air Ambulance has been formed to provide the United Kingdoms with its first national air ambulance fixed-winged aircraft service. The British Council Benevolent Fund's charitable purpose is the alleviation of financial hardship for British Council employees, both past and present, and their families, globally. More Than a Dent has been established to deliver projects with a long term impact to communities in need all around the world, with one project being funded per year.Only projects that offer long term benefit to communities are selected and then fundraised for. Measures are put in place to support the project's delivery of their objectives over the long term.

Grant making and charity project partnerships

During the year, the Trust made donations to 7 charitable organisations. The trustees have had regard for the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit.

The Fund supports specific research projects in the life and earth sciences undertaken in the field. There are no specified requirements in terms of nationality or qualification, but applicants should demonstrate existing skills experience or expertise. . Grants may be for a proportion of total costs, such as travel or for specific items of equipment.

We give small grants to medical and educational projects worldwide . We favour projects which do not attract funding from major charities. We do not fund gap year projects.

The Christian Fellowship have continued to meet together for worship,teaching, prayer & bible study. Financial support has been given to Christian work overseas in Bolivia, Mongolia, Mozambique, India and Zimbabwe. The main financial activity of the Trust during the year has been the continued maintenance and equipping of a Church building in Blundell's Road Tiverton.

The India Association committee is made up of some 300 professional businessmen and women from all walks of life, who use their expertise and contacts to help raise awareness and funds for worthy causes and other charitable organisations both in the UK and abroad.

Dorfred supports specific aid projects in the 3rd World by UK-registered charities working in the field, and requires regular progress reports.
